Evil Intentions

27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.
Proverbs 26:27 (NKJV)

In this blog, I have written a lot of articles on the Law Of Sowing And Reaping. In all of them, I focused mainly on how to make use of this law to get the things we want including the politically incorrect stuff like health and wealth. While this law works in providing positive things in our lives, the truth is it is not limited to positive things only. This law can also work on the negative side.

The Law Of Sowing And Reaping is an automated program. It does not know the difference between good and evil. It has no compassion, no love, no pity and bears no grudges with anyone. All it knows is to create a harvest from the seed that is sown. If you sow bad seeds, you will get a bad harvest. If you sow good seeds, you will get good harvest.

If you have sown bad seeds, there is no use of pleading to the Law Of Sowing And Reaping for good harvest. It does not care. It is not designed to care. This is why it is important to note that if we do not want bad harvest, we must never sow bad seeds. What are bad seeds?

The above verse gives an example of what is a bad seed. It can be an evil intention to harm others. It you dig a pit or roll a stone to harm others, you may eventually harmed by your actions. Therefore, never harm others no matter how disgusting they are.

God’s way of overcoming evil in our lives is to displace them with good. There may be people out there who talk bad things about you or even scheme to harm you. What should you do about it? The answer is to trust in God to protect you. He knows how to watch your back. He knows how to do his job.

When God is for you, who can be against you? Anyone who schemes against you is actually taking a stand against God. Don’t you pity them?

This is how we should deal with the jerks and scums in our lives. Do not sink into bitterness and depression. Fill with hope instead because your God is on your side. He who is in you is greater than he who is in this world.

Never, at any time return evil for evil because if you do, you will be sowing bad seeds. If you sow bad seeds, you will end up reaping bad harvest. The Law Of Sowing And Reaping is only an automated program. It does not care.

Beware Of Pride

18 Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.
Proverbs 16:18 (NLT)

In this article we shall study one of the most destructive force in the universe. It is called pride. What exactly is it? Let us look up to the dictionary to find out.

Source: “http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pride”

In short, it refers to seeing oneself as above everyone and everything else. It is dangerous to be caught in pride because it can cause us to overlook or ignore clues that could have saved us from impending dangers.

Proud people are all caught in the belief that they or their system is the best and is capable of overcoming every problem. Maybe they have been using a particular set of systems for many years and they worked perfectly. So, even when they see signs that, things are going wrong they choose to ignore the facts and continue to trust in their system. Pride has blinded them of the facts that the past variables that made their systems so effective in the past are no longer the same variables today. By the time they realize the truth, it is too late for them. They would have lost all their fortunes.

The most example we have on the above situation is the predicament of many multi-national financial institutions in the world today. Big names like AIG, RBS, Lehmen Brothers and Citibank used to give us the impression of invincibility but now they have fallen from their former glory. Lehmen Brothers has collapsed and the rest are under government bailout funded by their respective tax-payers. The ultimate question is what has caused such a drastic change in their fortunes? I believe the underlying reason is pride. These once powerful institutions are acting out Proverbs 16:18 in the real world.

Their past success must have made the management feel they are invincible. Each time they review their past records they must have seen profits piling up. Since there were little or no loss in their records, it is easy for them to ignore the existence of risk. In addition, since the salaries of the top management are linked to the profits of their companies, they will do everything they can to increase profits regardless of risk. In such a situation, many time bombs were created. It is only a matter of time for these bombs to blow up and the time has come. We are seeing the results today. I would like to say that we are indeed privileged to witness such events but this privilege will be useless unless we can learn from it.

The question here is how do we learn from it? First we need to know that pride comes from success. All of us like success. It is great to be successful. When we achieve success using one particular method, we will want to use the same method repeatedly to generate more success. This is common sense. However, we should not neglect revising the methods periodically and fix any bugs that we can find. It is crucial for us to keep reminding ourselves that only God’s Word is eternal, not the world’s systems. A certain system may work in a particular time and specific place but there is no guarantee that it will work at all times and all places.

Banks make a lot of money taking deposits from the public and lending them at higher interest rates to those who can afford to repay their loans. This method will not work if the banks choose to lend to those who cannot afford to repay their loans.

Insurance companies can make a lot of money in collection premiums to insure against the risks that they can understand and control. However, if they insure against the risks they know nothing about, they are digging their own graves.

The lesson for us here is we have to consistently and rigorously examine all our methods even if they had been working fine. Do not ignore signs of troubles because these signs can tell us a lot on how to improve our systems.

Finally, trust in God. The Word of God is the only unchanging thing in this world. Jesus had even said that heaven and earth may pass away but his words will still remain. It is the only thing, which we can rely on to help us to overcome every trial and bring us to prosperity. Do not let your pride get into your way of success and prosperity. Trust in God.

The Mentality Of Scarcity

9 But David said to Recab and Baanah, “The Lord, who saves me from all my enemies, is my witness.
10 Someone once told me, ‘Saul is dead,’ thinking he was bringing me good news. But I seized him and killed him at Ziklag. That’s the reward I gave him for his news!
11 How much more should I reward evil men who have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed? Shouldn’t I hold you responsible for his blood and rid the earth of you?”
12 So David ordered his young men to kill them, and they did. They cut off their hands and feet and hung their bodies beside the pool in Hebron. Then they took Ishbosheth’s head and buried it in Abner’s tomb in Hebron.
2 Samuel 4:9-12 (NLT)

After Abner was killed, his former boss King Ishbosheth became more fearful. He became weaker and weaker. Even his own people began to feel insecure of their future with him. Among them were Recab and Baanah, the brothers who served as the commanders of Ishbosheth’s raiding parties.

One day the brothers decided to take a proactive step to secure a better future. They wanted to follow Abner’s footsteps in switching to David’s side. Before they left, they wanted to bring a gift for David to secure his favor. The killed King Ishbosheth, chopped off his head and presented it to David in hope that they would be rewarded. Unfortunately, they did not do their homework.

David had executed the man who brought him Saul’s head in Ziklag. Why would he spare those who killed Saul’s son? He got them killed and buried King Ishbosheth in dignity.

In this article, we shall study the story of the brothers Recab and Baanah, find out what went wrong and learn to avoid similar outcome.

First of all, we need to realize that the brothers are not exceptionally evil. They were just normal people like you and me. They wanted a good and secure future for themselves. Unfortunately, the company they worked in was not doing well. This company was about to go bankrupt. So, it made good sense for them to apply for jobs in the other one that was doing well. This is a good thing to do.

They were not the first guys who thought of defecting. Abner did that and he had a good future until he was murdered. David treated defectors well. If the brothers were to cross over, they would have a fresh start toward a great future. Unfortunately, they did something extra. They thought David would be extra happy if they brought him Ishbosheth’s head. It was a bad move on their part. They did not do enough research on their prospective boss. If they did, they could have known what David did at Ziglag. This mistake cost them their lives. While David wanted to be the king, he did not want to ascend to his throne through murder.

Why did the brothers want to kill their former boss? Could they not just leave professionally like Abner? The answer lies in their insecurity. They must have been afraid that David might have rejected them. They wanted to be extra sure and they did that by killing David’s rival. This is basically why people resorted to evil acts like killing, cheating and stealing.

Why do you think people resorted to crimes in the first place? Do you think they don’t know that what they do is wrong? Do you think you can reduce the crime rate by telling people that crime is wrong? There was once in America that a parents’ group was trying to pressure schools to put up the 10 Commandments in the their premises. What do you think they hope to achieve from such efforts? Will there be lesser murders when you stick “Thou shalt not commit murder” everywhere?

My message here is, people do not do evil because they do not know what they do is evil. They do evil because they are desperate. Of course there are some exceptions here. Some people commit crimes for the thrill of it but most do that because they could not see any way out. There are people who had resorted to killing, stealing, cheating and in prostitution not because they like to do those things. They do those because they could not see any way else they could do to survive. They need to have the money to buy food, get shelters and provide for their family. Their problem is in their mentality of scarcity.

Those who are living under the bondage of the mentality of scarcity cannot see the opportunities of prosperity around them. All they can see is poverty. There is no way out. They got desperate and are willing to do anything to put food on the table. If you ask them, their standard answer is they have no choice. Their purpose of life is to survive by any means. They became easy prey for the devil, which will exploit them and make them do anything he wants.

This is basically the root cause for all the crimes that has been happening in this world. The operation motto is “I have no choice.”

Now that we know the cause, it is time to look at the solution. There is only one solution to the mentality of scarcity. It is the mentality of abundance. The mentality of abundance works the opposite way from the mentality of scarcity. The mentality of abundance says there is wealth all around us. We are entitled to unlimited wealth in this world and the world to come. All we need to do is to cause it to manifest physically and we do that through our faith.

23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Mark 11:23 (NLT)

Believe and you shall receive. God has made this world with abundance of resources for all of us. There is more than enough for every one. God wants us to be rich and he will make sure of it. There is no need to resort to crimes or any other form of evil to meet our needs. He is able to give us exceedingly and abundantly above all than we dare to ask or hope for. Our role is to ask and hope. We are to use our faith in bringing riches into our lives.

The bottom line is to faith. When you face any problem, do not focus on it. Focusing in your problems will only make them big. Focus on God. Focus on building up your faith to overcome every problem that comes your way. You have to convince yourself that he who is in you is greater than he who is in this world. You have to keep yourself in the mentality of abundance. Once you do that, all your problems will eventually fade away. This is the power of faith.

The First Theology

4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
Genesis 3:4-5 (NLT)

I am back. Actually, I started work yesterday but I was not in the mood to write. I attended a course for the past 2 days. Right now, I am practicing the strategies thought there. Once I got the hang of it, I will begin with real money and make my first million dollars. For those who have prayed, thank you very much. I am very excited and I look forward for my prosperity even if the world has been shouting the word “recession” to our ears.

I think I have given you enough update about myself. In this article, I shall show you what theology is all about. I have mentioned about theology in my past articles, which has caused some of its worshippers to write in to protest. In their comments, you can see that they are actually proving me right. One of them posted a prayer that asks God to give him poverty and sickness. Another one even declared that he is not like God and he is not a creator.

In case you have not realize about this:
1. Each time you go to work you are creating wealth for your employer.
2. Each time you draw something on a piece of paper, you are creating a piece of art (to those who know how to appreciate it)
3. Each time you cook something in the kitchen, you are creating something delicious.

In short, we are all creators. The only way for us not to be creators is to do absolutely nothing. So, the more the worshippers of theology try to defend theology, the more evil and perversion comes out from them. They are basically proving me right. This is why I welcome theologians to comment in this blog.

Let us begin our lesson. The above verses are the record of the first theology being introduced to humanity. The Bible itself has recorded many situations of theologians committing their deeds. Let me give you a few of them:

1. When Moses sent out 12 spies to scout the Promised Land, 10 of them were theologians. You can identify them based on their negative words.

2. When Jesus began his ministries, his greatest enemies were the theologians.

3. Theologians had infiltrated the early church. They imposed the Law back to the church. This had prompted Paul to write the harshest book (Galatians) in the Bible.

Outside the Bible, we can read about what the Inquisitors and the Crusaders did when they implemented theology. The only reason why today’s theologians do not behave like the Inquisitors and the Crusaders is because they have no more power to do so.

The Bible tells us that theology is evil. We should stay away from it. You cannot worship God and theology at the same time. In this article, I shall attempt to explain the basic principles of theology in detail and I shall do so from the first record of it.

Let me start from the background. After God created Adam, he placed Adam in a prosperous garden. Adam had the freedom to do anything he pleases except for one.

15 The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it.
16 But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden—
17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
Genesis 2:15-17(NLT)
After that God created Eve. Both Adam and Eve lived happily in prosperity. Then the theologian appeared. He is Satan. Satan took the appearance of a serpent, looked for Eve and initiated a conversation with her. Let us look at their conversation.

1 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”
2 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied.
3 “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
Genesis 3:1-5(NLT)

The theologian (serpent) began with a question on God’s words. This is the same with theologians today. Please note that the question is very negative.

“Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”

Why did he ask this question? Did he not know about it? Was he just trying to obtain information for his school project? The answer is no. He asked this question with the intention of creating a negative mindset on his prey, which in this case was Eve. Theology can only work in a negative mindset. You can read about the theologians’ comments in this blog. They are very negative. They can even pray for God to make them sick and poor. How low can they sink to?

This tells us that as long as we keep our thoughts positive, theology has no power over us. Theology draws its strength on a negative environment. This is why, its practitioners will always tell us how bad the situation is. They want us to dwell on the negative situation and become negative. Once you have become negative minded, you are easy prey. So, it is imperative for us to be positive at all times. We must guard our hearts.

Eve answered correctly at first but she made a mistake by adding to it.

2 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied.
3 “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
Genesis 3:2-3(NLT)

Eve said no eating and no touching the fruit. God only said no eating. There was no prohibition against touching the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden. Eve tried to be extra obedient by adding more rules. This was the opportunity the theologian was waiting for. He found a weak spot in Eve.

Before we move on to see how the theologian struck, let us find out why it is bad to be “extra obedient” by adding more to God’s rules. In my previous article, I wrote about lust. Jesus said that when a man looks at a woman with lust in his heart, he has committed adultery. Jesus had never said that men must never look at women. However, I am not surprise if there are theological crackpots that will say that men must never look at or show any interest to women at all. They are trying to be extra obedient.

In case some of you are wondering why is it wrong, God designed men and women to be attracted to each other. If you are a man who has no interest in women, you should seek medical help.

So, what will happen when you get extra obedient? You will see God in a negative light. You will have the impression that God is withholding good things from you. You think he is blocking your prosperity. As a result you will not trust him as you did before. Eve made this mistake. By adding an extra rule to God’s original requirement, she had created doubts in her faith in God. This is where the theologian struck.

4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
Genesis 3:4-5(NLT)

The theologian started with “You won’t die!” He presented God as a liar. This happens to be the main message of theology today. God is a liar. He has no intention to keep his promises to give you prosperity. All his promises of blessing you with health, wealth, success, long life and other good things in life, are not mean to be taken literally. This means God does not keep his promises.

(One theologian had even said that God’s “good will” for you could be in the form of making you poor and sick.)

In Verse 5, the theologian tempted Eve with the prospect of being like God. Today, this verse has been used by the theologians to discredit the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each time a Christian preacher preaches about the goodness of God in blessing us with prosperity, the theologians will link it to Genesis 3:5 as though God himself was the serpent who deceived Eve. This is a blasphemy, a common characteristic of theology.

Recently I even have a visitor who proudly said that he is not like God. Obviously he must be referring to the above verse. The lie that theology had propagated on Genesis 3:5 is the desire to be like God had caused Eve to sin. However, if you are to read in context, you will find that it is not so. Eve did not sin because she wanted to be like God. She sinned because she tried to be extra obedient by adding to God’s rules. The theologian took advantage of that.

My message here is, it is not wrong in wanting to be like God. As human beings, we were made in His image. When we became Christians, we were born again into a new species of God. We became more like God. God designed us with the desire to be more like him. If you are a Christian, you should have the desire to be more and more like God. A Christian who has no intention to be like God is like a man who has no interest in women. Both are abnormal.

Satan knew about this desire in Eve and used it as a bait to tempt her to sin. Let me tell you the truth about temptations. Temptations can only work by offering the victims what the victim desires. God has given Eve the desire to be like him. Satan created a temptation based on this desire to deceive Eve. Likewise, in other areas in our lives.

The devil will only tempt you based on the things you like. As for me, I like to have a lot of money. So, the devil will design a temptation with the line, “If you do certain things, you will have a lot of money.” if he has some basic intelligence. Of course, it will not work on me because I look to God as the source of my prosperity.

Satan sees your desires as the focus point for his temptations. All his temptations are based on the promises of fulfilling our desires. As long as you have a desire, you are a target of Satan’s temptations.

Does it mean we should not have any desires? The answer is no. God gave us desires. Without desires, we will be like mindless drones. All we need to remember is, we should look to God as the person who will fulfill our desires. Since God is the one who gave us our desires, he will be the one who will fulfill them. So, start trusting in him.

In conclusion, be like God.

Overcoming Lust

28 But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew 5:28 (NLT)

As I have promised I shall reveal the correct way of overcoming lust. In my previous article, I have explained that lust is bad. If you continue to entertain lust in your mind, your prosperity will be at stake. Therefore it is vital for us to overcome it once for all if we want to live the lives God wants us to live – prosper and be in health as our souls prosper.

What I am about to reveal to you is a direct revelation for God. I said this because I did not get it from any other sources. In other words, what you are about to read has never been preached in any churches nor has it been written in any books as far as I know it.

Let us begin. In the above verse, Jesus said if you look at a woman with lust, you have committed adultery. Obviously he was speaking from the perspective of a man. So, men should not look at a woman with lust. Please note that Jesus did not say men should not look women. There is nothing wrong with men looking at women and vice versa. In fact, men are supposed to be attracted to women. If you are a man and you are not attracted to women, you have a bigger problem. You are not normal. You should start praying and seek medical help.

So far, we have established that there is nothing wrong with men looking at women and women looking at men. God made beautiful women as a blessing to men and good-looking men as a blessing to women. We enjoy this blessing by looking at them with admiration, the same way we admire other beautiful sights. However, there are some pitfalls here.

First, we should not stare. Otherwise, we will appear as rude and will scare off the person we admire.

Secondly, we should not entertain lust in our minds when we are admiring those beautiful people. When we are in lust, we are creating an inner reality of a sexual relationship with this person without the permission of this person. This is a violation to this person and is very disrespectful. How can we showing disrespect and violate the person who we are supposed to be admiring? Having lust will only pollute the joy of this admiration.

How do we overcome this lust? I shall begin by telling what you should not do. If you are to ask a religious pastor or a theologian, they will tell you attempt in not lusting. That is the worst advice in the world. If you do not believe me try this experiment:

Select one day where you commit not to have a single thought of lust within the period of 24 hours. Make a conscious effort in continual reminders, use your strongest commitment and will power in not lusting. When you do that, I can assure you that you will lust more than usual. The stronger your commitment is, the more you will lust. Why is that so?

When confronted with this issue, theologians will undoubtedly come up with their own rubbish like your sinful nature, lack of faith, not committed enough, failure to confess all sins or other forms of theology which are basically nonsense.

Let me tell you the real reason. The phenomena of the stronger your commitment is in not lusting, the more you will lust, has nothing to do with the reasons provided by the theologians. It happens because you have violated the law of physics.

The law of physics is in operation here. Nature abhors vacuum. When you push out a thought (regardless of positive or negative) you are creating a vacuum in the space that was previously occupied by that thought. The law of physics demands that this space to be filled immediately. It does not care what type of thought will fill it. All it cares is this space to be filled. So the nearest thought (which happens to be the thought that you tried to push away) will come back in and fill its former space. Your attempt to remove this thought has failed because of the law of physics.

That is not all. When that thought fills back to its former space, it becomes a new thought. All things being equal, a new thought is stronger than an old thought. Think of this. If you have eaten an apple ten years ago and you just ate the same type of apple just now, you will surely remember the taste just now better than the one ten years ago. So, your attempt to prevent lust will end up strengthening the lust inside you.

Theologians have no answer to this. The only thing they can do is to continue to chant their theology, make you feel guilty and want you to put in more effort to stop the lusts. As explained earlier, the more effort you put in, the more lust you will have. Theologians know nothing about the law of physics.

Let me give you the answer now. Here is the magic formula:

We overcome lust by replacing them with another positive thought that brings equal or more joy but without the negative effect of lust.

I will illustrate this formula with an example.

You are a man and see a beautiful woman walking pass you. You look at her and you were attracted. You think she is attractive. Consider this. Who made her beautiful? The answer is God. God made this woman beautiful and he has planned for you to cross path with her. He must have loved you so much that he wants you to enjoy such a beautiful sight. Don’t you think you ought to thank him?

Start thanking God for blessing you with the sight of such a beautiful creation of his. Since God had planned for you to enjoy this beauty, he must have more beautiful things and experiences for you in time to come. Start believing and expecting more good things in your life. Use this experience to make your faith grow. Start to convince yourself that this incident is another indication that your prayers for more prosperity will manifest very soon. Your life is going to be very beautiful. When you think this way, you are effectively blocking the thought of lust in your mind and replace it with a positive thought.

What is next? It depends on whether you are single or married. If you are a single man, see yourself married to someone that beautiful and enjoy your life with her. If you are married, see your wife to be more beautiful than the woman you just saw.

In this example, you have turned an incident of crossing path with a beautiful woman into a catalyst in increasing your faith, your relationship with God and have a brighter outlook in life.

Next, we shall look at what should we do when we have lusted. When you have lusted, you should respond the same way as any other mental sins. Shake it off and move on. This is true repentance. Repentance means turn away and move on. It is not about beating yourself, feeling sorry and mourned for your sins as though God will be impressed by this pathetic act. The Book of Hebrew tells us that God promised not to remember our sins. When God promised something, he keeps it. So, God says he does not remember our sins, he does not remember our sins. Shake it off and move on.

The dumbest thing you can do is to try to mourn over it. Suppose that you have lusted for 5 minutes. Will you spend a full hour feeling sorry for it as a punishment? Think about it this way. Suppose you have lost $50 due to your negligence. Will you throw away another $600 to punish yourself? So, instead of losing $50, you have now lost a total of $650. This is a dumb thing to do and only theologians will subscribe to it.

I hope I have revealed to you the true formula of overcoming lust.

In the subsequent verses, Jesus talked about chopping off your hands and gorging out your eyes if they cause you to sin. I don’t see the necessity to explain them because I believe that even the most perverse church under the bondage of theology does not demand their members to do so. This marks the temporary end of my writings on Matthew 5.

I have a short announcement to make. I will take a few days break from this blog. The nearest date for my next article will probably be the 3rd of December because I will be taking 2 days leave from the beginning of next week to attend a course which I will use, to be rich. So, don’t be surprise when you don’t see new articles for the next few days. I need to get rich, you know.

So long for now and if you have time, please pray for me to succeed in learning what needs to be learn in this course so that I can achieve my first million within the next 2 years.

Bye.

Introduction To Lust

27 “You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’
28 But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew 5:27-28 (NLT)

We have come to the subject of lust. I am sure all of us have this experience and it can be quite stimulating and enjoyable. Some of us may even have wonder on why would Jesus classify lust as sin. In this article, we shall study in depth.

If you have attended religious churches before, you will realize that their solution is very simple – don’t do it. Religious churches can never give us real solutions in life. All they know is to use hell to threaten their people to do what they want them to do. So, when it comes to the subject of lust, the theologians’ answer is, “You must not lust.” This basically sums up the entire theology, which is garbage.

In this article, I am going to accomplish something that no theology or religious church has ever done before. I will explain in detail what is lust, why it is bad for us and how to overcome it effectively. Here we go.

In Verse 37, Jesus recited the law that says ‘You must not commit adultery.’ Jesus also said that his mission was to accomplish the law. This means that after Jesus died and rose again, the law that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ is no longer applicable for Christians. We do not have to obey the law in not committing adultery. If adultery is good for us, we should all do it. However, the truth is adultery is bad for us. Today, we do not want to commit adultery because we do not want to do things that are bad for us.

Why would God consider adultery as bad? God is the engineer who made us. He did not design us to live in adultery. When he told us, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ he was not trying to pull rank on us. He does not want us to be harmed by adultery. Please note that God will never punish us for adultery. God will never give Aids to people who commit adultery just as God will never cause smokers to have lung cancers. Aids is caused by a form of virus that comes from apes. God was not the one responsible in transferring the virus. In short, God is not the pervert that the theologians described him to be.

Let me list down some of the side effects of adultery. They are:
1. Disease.
2. Family breakdown.
3. Poverty.

In short, it is bad. Let me repeat. God will never punish people with diseases, family breakdown and poverty for committing adultery. Adultery is culprit that causes them, not God. God does not want us to commit adultery because he wants us to be healthy, rich and have strong families. So, if you want to live healthy, rich and have strong family, you should obey God. You should be faithful to your spouse and reject adultery.

We look at lust now. Lust is spiritual adultery. What is wrong with it? After all, you will not get disease from lust. Your family will not break if you have lust in your mind. In addition, you don’t have to spend a single cent when you are lusting especially when you have good imagination. It will not make you poor. In fact, it can be quite enjoyable. So, what is wrong with it?

In order to understand further, I will need to repeat what I have written about inner and outer realities. We have a physical reality outside us and a spiritual reality inside us. The law of nature dictates that both realities must match to reach equilibrium. There are 2 ways for equilibrium to happen.

The first way is to allow the physical reality to seep into your soul and become you inner reality. For example, you are living in a poor environment. No matter where you look, you see poverty. If you allow that to seep into your soul, you will believe that you are meant to be poor. You will be convinced that you are made, designed and called by God to be poor. At this stage, you have reached a state of equilibrium where your inner and outer realities matched perfectly. Your environment will be stable and remains unchanged. In other words, you will be poor forever.

Incidentally, this is the only type of equilibrium that the theologians and carnal minded Christians believe in. In their theological minds, if you are poor now, it means God wants you to be poor. If you are sick now, it means God wants you to be sick. They think the physical reality they are in, is the perfect manifestation of God’s will for them. So, if you are poor, don’t try to get rich. If you are sick, don’t try to get healthy. Jesus did not die poor at the Cross for you to get rich. Jesus did not take all you sickness and diseases at the Cross. As long as there is one Christian who is either poor or sick, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is false. God is a liar. Only theology is true. Welcome to the world of theology.

There is a second way to achieve this equilibrium. It is for the outer reality to be changed in accordance to the inner reality. If you choose to hold on to your inner reality even if it is the opposite from what you see around you, the environment around you will have to change and be transformed in accordance to the reality inside you. In this case, the outer reality will conform to the inner reality. This happens to be the way successful people lives. How does this work?

Let us get back to the same example. You may be very poor right now. Every direction you turn tells you that you are poor. Yet the Bible tells you that:
 At the Cross, Jesus died poor for you to live rich.
 God’s greatest wish is for you to prosper and be in health as your soul prospers.
 God will give you anything you ark for in prayer in Jesus’ name if you believe you receive.
 If God can give his Son for you, what else will he not give you?
 God is willing to give you exceedingly and abundantly above what you are to ask and hope for.
 The blessings of the Lord makes you rich and adds no sorrow in your life

How can you ever be poor? Despite the physical reality that is telling you that you are poor, you have made up your mind that you are rich in the inside. You may be physically poor but you are spiritually rich. As long as you hold on to your spiritual riches and refuse to allow the physical reality to seep into your soul, the law of nature will demand the physical reality to change to conform to your inner reality. In other words, you will soon be physically rich. The level of physical riches you can have will be in accordance to the level of spiritual riches you have build up inside you. So, if you want to have more physical riches, build up more spiritual riches inside you.

What has this got to do with lust? The second way of achieving equilibrium is not restricted in direction. When your inner reality is better than your outer reality, your external life will get better. However, if your inner reality is worse than your outer reality, your external life will get worse. When you entertain lust in your mind, you are creating a worse inner reality. You are committing inner sin.

The same law of nature will cause your physical environment to create the same sin physically. Your inner sin will become outer sin. Your spiritual adultery will manifest itself physically. That is not all. If physical adultery can cause you to be sick, poor and break your family physically, lust can cause the spiritual equivalent. If you hold on to your lust, your physical environment will conform to the spiritual equivalent. Equilibrium will still take place but this time in a negative way. The bottom line is, lust is bad.

The next question is how to overcome it? I will write about it in the next article.

Your Anger Can Send You To Hell

21 “You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’
22 But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.
Matthew 5:21-22 (NLT)

I suspect the above to another favorite passage to quote when the theologians want to convince us that we can go to hell even after we became Christians. As I have mentioned in earlier articles, religious churches have 2 different layers of the Gospel. The first layer is the evangelistic version that tells people that the moment they believed in Jesus, they are saved. They will go to heaven when they die.

This layer is strictly for non-Christians. Once you are a Christian, this layer is not applicable anymore. You have to obey everything that is written in the Bible. If you don’t, you will go to hell. Even Jesus cannot help you if you don’t obey him.

The above verses are among the rules you have to obey if you do not want to go to hell. You must not commit murder. The term “murder” is not limited to the physical act alone. If you are angry with someone or curse somebody, you will burn in hell regardless of your faith in Jesus. Are the theologians right? We shall look further in this article.

First of all, if the theologians are right, they will be the first ones who will burn in hell. They are the ones guilty of murders, both physically (think of the Inquisitors and Crusaders) and spiritually. Today, theologians are no longer committing physical murders because they do not have the powers they used to have but they are still committing spiritual murders through their angry slanders and condemnations on Christians who choose to obey God instead of theology. Therefore, if murder (physical and spiritual) can send people to hell, theologians will be there.

What does Jesus really means by his words in the above passage? He said that if we entertain angry thoughts in our minds on other people, we will be subjected to judgement, be brought before the court and are in danger of the fires of hell. Does that sound scary? However, that is not the full story. The full story is, when Jesus said those words, he had not died at the Cross. The people at that time did not have a Savior who paid for their sins. They had to bear the consequences of their own sins. So, they commit murders (physical and spiritual), they will be subjected to judgement, be brought before the court and are in danger of the fires of hell.

The good news is, Jesus’ works at the Cross, has changed everything. If we happen to commit the sin of murder, we must always remember that Jesus had paid for this sin at the Cross. Jesus had been “subjected to judgement, brought before the court and was in danger of the fires of hell” on our behalf. Therefore, Christians will not go to hell for murdering. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I hope I don’t have to elaborate that if you commit physical murder, the law in your country will get you. Jesus’ works at the Cross, is not recognized by the legal system in our respective countries.

So far so good but does this mean that Christians can commit spiritual murders as we please? The truth is no one can stop us from hating anyone but if we want to receive the abundant prosperity from God, we will not want to do that. Why not? Hate is a poison to our souls. It blocks our faith, which will in turn choke the flow of our prosperity. So, if you want to be rich, do not hate and if you want to be poor, hate as much as you can.

When we commit spiritual murders or hate someone, we will be focusing our thoughts and attention to the person who we hate. In doing so, we are not focusing on our faith for our prosperity. We are effectively sacrificing our prosperity for the sake of the people we don’t like. Isn’t that a dumb thing to do? Will you do that? I won’t. As for me, I am committed to allocate as much thinking time as I can on using my faith for my prosperity because I want to receive exceeding and abundant prosperity from God. Spiritual murders or hating people will reduce the thinking time I want to use for my prosperity and will result in the reduction to the exceeding and abundant prosperity that I will receive. I am not stupid.

So, if anyone is to offend me, I will forgive this person immediately. This means I will not waste my valuable thinking time on this person anymore. When I say “I forgive you.” my underlying message is “You are not worth my hate.”

Of course, forgiveness does not mean I will not take any action at all. If you try to steal from me or harm my family, I will take legal action on you. I will demand you to compensate me on all the losses you have caused plus interest but I will not do it with hate in my heart. I forgive you but I will still demand compensation (with a loving heart).

The above is an illustration on how Christians should live.

We Did Not Receive The Spirit Of Fear

15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15 (NLT)

The above verse is clear when it says we are not meant to be fearful slaves. It has never been the will of God for us to live in fear nor in slavery. We have our own independent freedom. We can choose to do what we want.

This is the opposite of what religious churches have been teaching for generations. If you have been to one, you will realize that all their messages are directed to cause fear to their people. In their religious minds, threats and blackmails are the only way to make people live holy lives. They have no regard on what the Bible says, especially what Romans 8:15 is all about. Religious people are fearful slaves. They do not have the freedom in not sinning. They are scared into trying not to sin. The facts show that they failed.

Thank God we are not like that. We are free. We don’t sin not because of any threats. We don’t sin because we choose not to. Sin is no longer our nature. Our nature is holiness. We live holy lives because it is our nature to be holy. Living holy lives to Christians is like barking is like to dogs. Once we believe in this truth, the days of struggling against sin is over. This is true holiness.

The subsequent part of the verse tells us we received God’s Spirit when he adopted us as his own children. We call him “Abba, Father.” We are the children of God. Even religious people know this but their problem is they don’t take it seriously. In the religious mind the phase “children of God” is only a metaphor. It is not real. This is why they get offended when we Christians call God our daddy or we do not use capital letter for the term “father”.

Please note that the term “Abba” is the equivalent of the western “daddy”. It indicates intimacy with God. I remember that a religious guy tried to correct me in using capital letters when I refer to God. He told me I should type “He” instead of “he” when I refer to God. Religious people seem to think that not only are they the only ones who are qualified to read the Bible, they are also the only authority in English Language.

The truth is I intentionally use small letters to show that I am referring to the intimate relationship I have with God and not the title. Let me explain further. I suspect no Christians will have problem with God as our “Father” but most have problem with him as our “father”. There is a big difference between “Father” and “father”. The former refers to a title and the latter refers to a relationship.

When God tells us he is our father, he is referring to his desire for close relationship with us. He is not inventing a new title. Unfortunately, religious churches had turned it into a title. For example, the Pope is addressed as the “Holy Father”. What does that mean? If you are a catholic, can you go to the Pope, tap his shoulder and say, “Hi dad. I am going to take my family to Rome next month. Can we stay at your Vatican for a few days?” I don’t think any catholic will dare to say that because the Holy Father is the Holy Father. He is not your father. Religious churches treat God the same way. In their minds, God is the Father and not their father. This is why they are living in bondage.

In conclusion, as Christians we live in freedom. We are not fearful slaves. We live in holiness and dislike sin because it is our nature to do so. We are not threatened into holiness. God is our father. (Emphasis on the small “f”) We are his sons and daughters. If you are a man, you are the son of God. If you are a woman, you are the daughter of God. As the sons and daughters of God, we have complete access to all his blessings. We are destined to overcome every trials and challenges that are in our way. We are forever victorious and exceedingly prosperous. Just remember God is our father, not Father.

You Are Not Controlled By Your Sinful Nature

9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)
Romans 8:9 (NLT)

This article continues from the previous one. In the previous article, I wrote about Verse 7-8. These are very negative verses. The only reason why that article does not sound negative is, I put them within the context of the Gospel. If I did not do that, it will create a negative outcome. Why? These verses speak of the weakness of the sinful nature. They do not tell us whether we have it and if we do, how to get rid of it. So, if you read Verse 7-8 independent from the rest, you will get very depressed.

Do you have sinful nature in you? The above verse answers that. It says you do not if you have the Spirit of God living in you. Who are the people in this world who have the Spirit of God living in them? The answer is Christians. If you are a Christian, you do not have sinful nature in you. You are holy in the eyes of the Lord. You cannot repent of your sinful nature because you have none.

This is the opposite of what religious churches have been teaching. Religious people do not accept the truth that being Christians makes us automatically holy and be free from our previous sinful nature. They think of holiness as something we must do to achieve instead of a gift given by God the moment we became Christians. Yet the Bible says otherwise.

Let me relate a story on how depraved religious people can be. While I was searching for Joel Osteen messages in the YouTube yesterday, I came across a video clip posted by a religious guy showing himself standing in front of Lakewood Church (Joel Osteen’s church) shouting his sermon to the church members as they were leaving the church. He was quoting a lot of scriptures but like the rest of religious people, they were all quoted out of context. His primary message was to denounce Joel Osteen. It seemed that those who attended Lakewood Church are bound for hell if they continue to go there. One of his arguments was in the form of this question, “When was the last time Joel preached on sin and repentance?”

What do you think he meant by that question? He seemed to think that if you attend a church that does not preach on sin and repentance based on his standard, you are going to hell. Obviously, this guy did not read Romans 8, in particular Romans 8:9. As Christians, we have repented from our sinful nature the moment we believed. There is no sin for us to repent from. The only “sin” we can repent from are sinful acts and thoughts.

In case someone wants to ask whether Joel had ever preached on sin and repentance, let me answer that for you. Based on all the messages I heard from him, including all those that are listed in my blogroll, my reply is: yes. Joel preached on sin and repentance in all his messages. He just did not use the exact words. He used simple language in his sermons in order to help his listeners to understand the Word Of God better. If you listen to his messages, you will find them to be full of repentance from sin. Let me give you an example. When you reject a negative thought and choose to trust in God to deliver you from a bad situation, you are effectively repenting from a sin. So, listening to Joel Osteen messages makes me repent from my sins.

Religious people can never understand this. Neither can they accept the truth that we Christians are not obliged to obey their religious procedures in our repentance of sin. This is why their lives are filled with bitterness and anger.

In conclusion, as Christians we are free from the sinful nature. Without the sinful nature, sinful thoughts and acts have no power over us. Knowing this truth enables us to overcome sin effortlessly. We repent from our sins by rejecting negative thoughts and replace them with God’s thoughts.

Life And Peace Comes From The Spirit

6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
Romans 8:6 (NLT)

This article is a part of the series in Romans 8. Earlier verses tell us that we have been given the power over sin. As Christians, we are no longer obligated to live under the dominion of sin. We are free from sin. This means we don’t have to sin anymore. At the same time, freedom in not sinning must also means the freedom to sin. Otherwise, it will not be qualified as freedom. Some Christians may ask, “Why can’t I use my freedom to sin?”

The above verse answers such questions. If we choose to surrender to the sinful nature and allow it to control us, we will be lead to death. Please note that this is not a threat. Religious churches will turn this into another threat to threaten their members into obedience but that is not the truth.

If you read the first part of the verse carefully, you will see that it is the sinful nature that leads to death, not God. God will never kill us if we allow our sinful nature control our minds. Our killers are our sinful nature, not God. Let me give you an example. In Singapore, the government has decreed that every cigarette pack must have a health warning that says “SMOKING CAUSES CANCER”. If anyone gets cancer from smoking, it does not mean that it is the will of the government to give cancer. The government does not promise cancer to those who smoke. It is only reminding the people the risk of smoking.

Likewise, God is not threatening to kill us for letting our sinful nature control our minds in the above verse. He is only reminding us of the danger of it. Sin leads to death. God wants us to live. This is why he asks us not to sin. He loves us so much that he wants us to live long lives. He knows sin is bad for our longevity. He wants us to stop sinning so that we can live long. This is about good intention and not threats. Despite the lies of religion, God is not a terrorist.

The second part of the verse says letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. This is a good reason for us to let the Spirit control our minds. It means thinking what the Spirit is thinking. If you read the Bible, God is a very positive person. He thinks positive. Sometimes he expressed his disappointments and distress over the rebellion of his people but he had always turned positive. He was always ready to deliver his people whenever they asked for his help regardless of how bad their past was. Even in the darkest moments, God promised restoration for his people.

Therefore, when we let the Spirit control our minds, we will think positive thoughts. We will think thoughts of hope, joy, prosperity and restoration. The result of this will be life and peace. This tells us that the origin of life and peace is from our minds, not our environment. This is good news. We do not need to have good environment to have life and peace.

If you happen to be in a bad situation right now, like under the bondage poverty, sickness and other forms of oppression, the most important think you must remind yourself is not to allow these oppressions to get into your mind. As long as these oppressions are at the outside, you can overcome them if you are still thinking God’s thoughts. However, things will be more difficult if you stop thinking God’s thoughts and start thinking negative. This is where the oppressions become bondages in your life.

You may be very poor right now. It is imperative for you to keep the poverty outside your mind. Do not allow your mind to think poor. You have to keep reminding yourself that God wants you rich. Jesus died poor at the Cross for you to live rich. Poverty has no right to oppress you. You must be determined to be rich because this is the will of God for you. God is working behind the scenes right now to bring riches into your life.

Keep praying, believing and hoping that God will bring riches into your life. Do everything you can to build up your faith. If you don’t give up, you will live to see the will of God manifesting into your life. You will have exceeding and abundant riches into your life. The prosperity of your mind will result in the prosperity of your environment.

Letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
