Your Children Will Never Beg For Bread

25 Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.
Psalm 37:25 (NLT)

This must be the second time I write on the above verse. I am reviewing this verse again because I believe this is relevant to current situation of the world. The world economy is in a mess. Many people have lost their jobs and even face the prospect of losing their houses. Even Christians are affected. If you are one of them, God wants to tell you not to give up hope. He can and he will deliver you. All you need to do is to keep believing and don’t give up hope. Then you will be in position to receive his abundance of wealth despite the recession.

The above verse is God’s words spoken through King David when he became old. In fact, King David was speaking from his life experience. He had a long history with God and he had observed the following:
1. God had never abandoned the godly.
2. Their children of the godly never had to beg for bread.

Let us begin with the first point. If you are godly (which basically a believer), God promised that he will never abandon you. Is that great? It depends which perspective you look at it. If you happen to be a doctrine worshipper living under the bondage of theology, this phrase means nothing to you.

Why? In the minds of theologians, you can still be poor, sick and live like a failure when God does not abandon you because sometimes God likes to do perverted things on you to show you his sufficient grace. Recently I have a doctrine worshipper trying to convert me to his bondage of theology. I entertained him for a while but I have made it clear that I will ex-communicate him in 1 week if he fails to come up with any engineering ideas.

The point he tried to present is, the fact that Jesus had suffered and died means all the promises on health and wealth in the Bible is no longer valid. The good and the bad had interchanged. The good becomes bad and the bad becomes good. Jesus promised us trials and sorrows in this world. This means there were never trials and sorrows in this world before Jesus came. In other words we are better off if Jesus never came. Do you think I am convinced by such stupidity? I consider this as an insult to my intelligence although I am not surprise if the theologians bought them.

I allowed those theological posts to remain in my blog for one week for you to see for yourself how idiotic those doctrine worshippers can be.

The truth is, God is not limited to empty talk. He is an action oriented. When he says he will not abandon us, what he means is he will help us to overcome all our troubles.

The second part of David’s observation gives us an example in how God is not abandoning us. Our children will never beg for bread. Please note that David did not specify any conditions to this promise. This verse will always work regardless of any external circumstances. In other words, our children will never beg for bread no matter how bad the economic, social or political situation has become. They will never go hungry nor will they be ever poor. This is the promise of God backed by his integrity.

At this point, I can predict some carnal Christians like the theologians and doctrine worshippers will point out some examples of Christian children living in poverty and hunger in this world today in their effort to prove that God is a liar.

In reply to such heresy, my answer is these poor Christians need hear and believe in the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. If your light does not turn on when you flip the switch, it does not mean electricity does not exist. Likewise, if there are Christians fail to live up to the standard promised by God, it does not mean the Gospel of Jesus Christ is false.

If you lights fail to turn on, there can be many reasons like burnt light bulbs, bad circuits, or you have forgotten to pay your utility bills. Electricity still exists even if your lights fail to turn on.

In the same way, God’s promises in delivering us from all our troubles, blessing us in all things including health and wealth still stands even if there are many Christians living in poverty, sickness and sorrows. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is more than just believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven when you die. Most of the Bible speaks on what to do between the moment we believed until the time we step in heaven.

Being Christians is to live the life God wants us to live, which is prosperity in all areas in our lives like good health, abundant wealth, long life and success. When we live this way, we will become beacons of light shining in the midst of darkness. This is how we become good testimonies for our God.

Satan is afraid that we will fulfil our destiny. This is why he raised up theologians to persecute us with labels like “Prosperity Gospel” to make us feel ashamed of the Gospel. Does it work on you? As for me, he failed. I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I am committed to believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ regardless of the lies theologians can create.

In the context of the above verse, I am committed to believe that my God will never abandon me no matter how bad the situation appears to be. He will help me and deliver me from all my troubles. He will turn my poverty into prosperity, my sickness into health and failure into success.

Sure, there are many poor, sick and failing Christians in this world today. I want to help them to overcome their problems by showing them what the Bible truly says about their situation and how to use the Bible for their prosperity and success. The best way I can do that is for me to live the life that God wants, prosper in all things and be in health as my soul prosper. This is my commitment to God. I want to be rich, healthy and be successful not only for myself and my family, but also to present the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

Will you do the same? When you adopt such commitment, you will have no time to feel discourage by the problems you are facing now. There is a greater level of prosperity out there and you are on your way to reach it. Do not let the present situation weigh you down. God has promised that he will not abandon you. Your children will never have to beg for bread.

Say To This Mountain

23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
Mark 11:23-24 (NLT)

Anyone who attends churches that preaches the true Gospel of Jesus Christ (as opposed to the lies of theology) should be quite familiar with Mark 11:24. However, in this article, my focus is in the verse before it, in particular the act of speaking to the mountain.

In this verse, Jesus told his disciples that as long as they believe and do not doubt in their hearts, they could tell the mountain to be lifted up and thrown to the sea. The mountain will obey. This is the power of faith. Please note that Jesus did not say we need to pray to God and ask him to throw the mountain to the sea. We do not need God to be our middleman. We have the direct power to move the mountain.

When I was in my first church, I remember a theological pastor tried to rationalize this verse into saying that we can tell the mountain to go to the sea and if it is God’s will for it to do so, it will happen. Yet the above verse says otherwise. The way this corrupt pastor put it is like saying that I can give you anything you ask me for as long as it is my will to do so. Each time you ask me for anything, I only have to say it is not my will for you to have it. It is clear that theology is nothing but pure stupidity apart from being a lie from the pit of hell.

The truth is, we have direct power to change our environment. God has given us the power to change our environment the way we want it. We do not have to keep asking for his permission. Let me give you some examples.

 When the light bulb in your house is burnt, the solution is to get a new one and replace it. You don’t have to ask for God’s permission to do so. God’s will for you in this situation is to change the light bulb.

 If you are sick, your duty is to get well. Do everything you can to get well. This may include visiting the doctor, getting some rest, drink more water etc. You don’t have to ask for God’s permission to do so. God’s will for you in this situation is to get well.

 If you are cut and bleed, your duty is to get healed. Do everything you can to get healed. This may include cleaning the wound, applying antiseptic, bandaging the wounds etc. You don’t have to ask for God’s permission to do so. God’s will for you in this situation is to get healed.

 If you are poor, your duty is to get rich. Do everything you can to get rich. This may include finding better jobs, starting a new business, learning new skills, cutting expenses etc. You don’t have to ask for God’s permission to do so. God’s will for you in this situation is to get rich.

The above are not exhaustive. They are called common sense. No one in the right mind dispute that.

The mountain in the above verse represents obstacles that appear to be permanent and impossible to remove in our lives. It can be in the form of a huge pile of debts that you appear to have no hope of clearing. It can be in the form of a bleak situation where you cannot find good jobs with good income. It can also be in the form of an incurable disease in your body that seems to have an upper hand.

In short, the mountain represents huge problems that are here to stay. How should we respond? Jesus’ answer is for us to speak to it. Speak to the mountain and tell it that it has no right to come to your life. Tell it to throw itself to the sea. Tell your problems to go back to their source, which is the pit of hell.

1. Tell your debts to be gone. Tell your poverty and lack to be gone. Jesus had died poor for you to be rich.
2. Tell your sickness and disease to be gone. Jesus had taken them with him at the Cross.
3. Tell your failures to be done. You are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the spiritual realms.

Use your mouth and speak to those mountains. Jesus had guaranteed us that as long as we believe in what we say and do not doubt, those mountains will have to obey us. This is how Christians should deal with the problems we face in our lives. It does how matter how big those problems appear to be. They have no choice but to obey our instructions. This is their destiny. Jesus had guaranteed that.

Unfortunately, the reverse is also true. If you are to say the wrong things like:
 I will never get out of this debt.
 I will never get a good job.
 I will never get healed.
 I will never be successful.

You will also get what you say. When you say those words, you are effectively strengthening those mountains in your life. Mark 11:23-24 is still working in your life but you are using it in a negative way that will harm you.

Therefore it is essential for us to guard our tongues in all times, especially when we are facing problems. When you are facing problems, make sure you only speak positive words to overcome them. If you are poor, speak words of prosperity. If you are sick, speak words of health.

In conclusion, Jesus has told us that we have all the power we need in our tongues. We can either use them to get rid of our problems or to increase them. The choice is ours based on how we use our tongues.

Financial Toxic: Structured Products

I am starting a series in financial toxic. In this article, I shall focus on the analysis of structured products sold by financial institutions. Before I move on, I would like to state my disclaimer. The entire article is written based on my personal opinion. I am not a licensed financial adviser nor am I a financial expert. I am only an engineer. Financial advisers and experts are trained to obey everything written in the financial textbooks while engineers are trained to think and analyze logically. This explains why engineers have different views from financial advisers and experts.

Let us begin by some basic introduction on the subject under discussion. What are structured products? To put it simply, they are things that you pay a certain amount of money for. When certain conditions in the contract happens you will receive a certain amount of profits but when another set of conditions happen, you will suffer loss. This is supposed to be an “investment”. How do they work? I don’t think any one other than their creators know. This means not even the sales people (also known as relationship managers) know anything about them other than their commission and sales quota. They are extremely complex.

This is another proof on how bad it is when non-engineers are in charge of the financial sector. Why do you think they create such complicated products? Are complications necessary for our investment needs? I don’t think so. It is clear that such complications are only meant to mislead and deceive.

Engineers do encounter complex problems in our work. However, our role is to simply them. Let me share some of my experience in this regard. Once I was working in the construction of a recreation club at a hill slope. The whole plan is very complex. Due to many changes in the design, the drawings do not match anymore. The architectural and structural drawings were no longer showing the same thing. Nobody knew what to do.

When I first got in, my role was to set things in order. I knew that there was no use writing to the consultants to ask them what to do. I will only get some general answers, which will require me to ask even more questions. The only solution I could see was for me to take out the relevant drawings, take out my stationary and draw out the details that matches the engineer’s and architect’s requirements. Then I faxed my drawings to the consultants to ask for approval. They only have to answer “yes” or “no” and I always get “yes” to all my drawings. After I got the approval, I made photocopies of my drawings and pass them to the foremen to built accordingly. Most of the development was built based on the diagrams I drew. Basically, I had simplified a complex development into simple diagrams that individual workers can build.

This is what engineering is all about. The existence of the structured products shows us that their producers are doing the opposite from the principle of engineering. While we simplify complex stuff, they complicate simple stuff. The question here is why do they do that?

All products are supposed to meet the demand for specific needs. For example, our need to protect our feet creates the demand for shoes. Our need to protect our heads creates the demand for hats and helmets. So, what needs do the structured products fill? The answer is none. The structured products do not fill any need and there is absolutely no demand for them. However, they still got sold.

How did they do it? The answer is in the generous commissions and high pressure selling in a morally challenged environment. Let me explain in the Singapore context. In Singapore, we have a lot of senior citizens who have accumulated a lot of savings in the bank due to their thrifty lifestyles. They do not have much education and do not know much English. So, the only investment they know is fixed deposits.

When these people go to the banks to renew their deposits, the banks’ tellers referred them to the relationship managers who then introduced them to invest in the structured products sold by the banks. These relationship managers managed to convince their prospective clients (or victims) that the investment is as safe as bank deposits but produce a much higher interest. They made a lot of sales. When Lehman Brothers collapsed, the rest is history. Many senior citizens found themselves losing their life savings in their “safe” investments.

Even professionals who can read in English bought those products. Obviously they trusted those relationship managers more than they trusted in their ability to read in English. Somehow, these professionals must have thought that the title “manager” makes a person honest. Now they had to pay for their mistakes with their life savings.

This may be an isolated event but it tells us very clearly that the structural products are designed to make us part with our money. This is their only purpose. Their complexity is meant as a cover. Therefore the only conclusion here is never buy any of them. Shun them like toxic waste.

Of course, I will not be surprise if there are investment experts like financial advisers and relationship managers who disagree with me. After all, who am I to prevent them from earning their commissions?

Pressure

10 If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small.
Proverbs 24:10 (NLT)

I have written on this verse before. In this article, I am going to look at it in another perspective. The topic here is pressure. Another common word we use is stress. In our modern society, having pressure is very common. Even in the above verse, God does not guarantee us any form of stress free lives. We are not immune from pressure or stress but we are not supposed to fail under it. This is the message from God in the above verse.

So, is pressure good or bad? The answer depends on how we deal with it. Many people had excelled when faced with it and at the same time many had failed under it. How will you fare in your pressure? It totally depends on how you intend to deal with it. In other words, we decide our own destiny though our actions today.

When I was in my first (and last) religious church, I could never believe that I am the master of my destiny. I was lead to believe that Christians are supposed to behave like mindless puppets to be manipulated by God, the ultimate puppet master. If God wants me rich, I will be rich. If God wants me poor, I will be poor. If God wants me to be sick, I will be sick. Sometimes I wonder, what if God wants me to be a terrorist?

Now that I am set free by God from the lies of theology, I begin to understand that God is not interested to micro manage me as though I am a mindless puppet. I have the right to choose what I want based on the truth I read from the Bible.

What has this got to do with pressure? We can choose our response to it. In particular, we can choose whether to triumph over it or to fail under it. The decision is ours, not God’s. If we choose to exercise our strength, we will never fail under any form of pressure.

Pressure happens when we are faced with the situation that we are not used to. This includes situations where we are expected to achieve more than what we think we are naturally capable of.

Here is an example. Suppose that you are capable of making one burger in every five minutes. You will not feel any pressure if you are asked to make 10 burgers in 1 hour. There is more than enough time. However if you are required to make 20 burgers in one hour, there will be pressure because it is beyond your current capability.

The next question is how are you going to deal with it? Are you going to give up, prepare to be sacked and find a new job for failing to meet expectations? This is failing under pressure. If you do that, you will most probably be repeating the same process in the future. At the end of your life span, you will still be the same person, capability of making only one burger in 5 minutes. You will never improve, nor will you advance to the next level.

Fortunately, this is not the only option you have. The alternative is to find ways to speed up the process to meet the target. Once you do that, there will be an outcome. You can either succeed or fail. If you succeed, congratulations. You have advanced to a higher level. You are in the position to move even to a higher level of prosperity.

However, should you fail and lose your job, it is still not the end. At least you have learned something new and tried. You have also established a habit of not giving up without a fight. In the end, you are better off compared to the alternative of failing under pressure.

In conclusion, it is clear that God wants us to triumph over all the challenges we face in our lives. Yes, there will always be pressure, but that does not mean God wants us to fail under it. Our role is to overcome it and use it as our stepping stones to greater success and glory. This is the real destiny for all believers. No exception.

Integrity

7 The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.
Proverbs 20:7 (NLT)

Today’s theme is integrity. This happens to be the weakest part for many Christians especially those who are under the bondage of theology. If you want to access the level of integrity in religious churches, all you have to do is to visit them in a regular Sunday and visit again in any of their evangelistic events. You will find 2 separate “gospels” being preached.

I have highlighted this deception in my testimony since this blog was started. Since then, many religious people had tried to correct me to their “right doctrines” but none dared to dispute the fact that religious churches had been preaching 2 separate “gospels” to 2 separate groups of people. If you are not a Christian, salvation is by faith. All you have to do is to believe and you are saved. However, the moment you have become a Christian, you are obligated to obey certain rules because faith without works is dead. Some of these crackpots even said that if you do not obey their rules, you have never been saved in the first place.

This is the greatest proof that religious churches are integrity-challenged. Is God pleased with them? I doubt so. If it is the will of God for you to attend a religious church, it must also be his will for you to live without integrity. Yet the above verse says otherwise.

It is clear for us that God wants us the godly to walk with integrity. Our personal integrity is our testimony on our God’s faithfulness and reliability. We do not have to lie to save ourselves. Our God is more than able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we dare to ask for. So, when we choose to tell the truth even if it is not beneficial for us to do so, we are making a statement of faith of our God’s faithfulness and reliability. It will not take long for our prosperity to manifest.

So, the question here is not whether we should or should not walk in integrity. The real question is whether we truly believe in our God’s reliability to deliver and prosper us. If we truly believe in our God’s faithfulness in keeping his promises, we will have no problem walking in integrity. So, if you have problems in this area, the solution is to strengthen you faith.

The second part of the above verse says blessed are their children who follow them. When we choose to trust in God and walk in integrity, our blessings will not stop in our generation alone. The blessing will overflow to our children’s generation as well. It will become a legacy.

The choice is yours. Will you choose to trust in God and walk in integrity or will you prefer to trust in the Theologian and be integrity-challenged? Whatever your choice, you will always reap what you sow.

Engineering Solution To The Sub Prime Crisis

In this article, I shall present the engineering solution to the sub-prime crisis in America, which is having a negative effect throughout the world. I shall begin by describing the origin of the problem. Then I shall proceed with the analysis of its nature. Based on its nature, I will present the solution with all the necessary explanations on variations of scenarios. Let us begin.

Origin of the problem.
The problem begins when banks and other lending institutions in USA lent money to people who would not have qualified for loans to buy properties, thus the term “sub-prime”. They did that in order to charge higher interest. Higher interest means higher profit, which will inevitable lead to higher income to the CEO. As for the sub-prime borrowers, they got to own their houses for the first time. So, everybody was happy.

How about the risks? It must not have been obvious in the beginning. The loans are backed by properties. If the borrowers fail to pay the installments, the banks can seize their properties and recoup their money. Property prices were quite stable at that time. Not only that, the sub-prime loans had increased demands for properties. As a result, property prices had increased. So, the risk of borrowers failing to pay their installments plus property prices dropping appeared to be a remote possibility.

How did this affect the whole world? When the banks run out of cash to lend, they securitized their sub-prime loans to sell them to investors worldwide for a few percentage of the loan amount in commission. In return, they got new injections of cash, which enabled them to lend more.

The problem came when the seemingly impossible scenario happened. Borrowers cannot pay their installments and property prices fall. This has become a global problem as many institutional and retail investors have invested into these sub-prime loans. The rest is history. Companies had gone bankrupt and many Americans are facing the prospect of being evicted from their homes. Welcome to the biggest recession in history.

Nature of the problem.
Despite the huge impact on the whole world and millions of lives affected by it, I am going give you an analysis that may seem out of place. In my opinion, the problem is entirely virtual and not physical.

Let me explain further. If a house is burnt to ashes, there are physical losses. The furniture, food and clothes in the house had been reduced to ashes. Their value is gone forever. This is a real physical loss. However, in the sub-prime crisis there is no real physical loss. Many houses are worth lesser than what they used to but the physical houses are still there. Not a single brick is lost. This is what I mean by saying that the sub-prime crisis is entirely virtual and not physical.

My solution is derived by this fact.

Solution to sub-prime crisis.
Based on the true nature of this crisis, I shall now present my engineering solution as follow:

Allow the banks to repossess the houses. Do not prevent nor delay them. Let nature runs its course.

In case somebody accuses me of being insensitive, not compassionate and not knowing what I am saying, let me explain the rationale. What will happen when the bank repossess your house and evict you? It has to sell it for whatever price it can get to get back their money. Will the banks be successful in getting back their money?

Consider this. The United States of America is facing an oversupply of houses right now. If there is a massive repossessing of houses and auctions of these houses, there will be a huge increase in the supply of houses. The result will be a drastic drop in property prices. Those who had been evicted from their houses can buy back their houses at a fraction of the present price. The problem would have been solved.

Of course, I do not pretend to know about the law. Does the law allow those who are evicted to buy back their own houses? Can the banks repeat the repossessions if the evictees buy back their houses?

In this case, let us assume the worst case scenario. Let us assume that those who are evicted cannot buy any houses. In this scenario, two seemingly contradictory events have happened in the same space and time. On one side we have a lot of empty houses and on the other we have a lot of people with no houses.

What will happen then? Foreigners like myself will come to the rescue. I will buy those houses at dirt cheap prices and rent them back to the Americans at dirt cheap rents. If I buy a house at US$100, I do not mind renting it at US$1 per month. My condition will be the tenants are to take full responsibility in all the maintenance. In one year I will have US$12. This is equivalent of an annual yield of 12%. So even if the property prices never rise, I am still making good profits. I am sure a lot of foreigners will share my sentiments.

As a result, those who had been evicted from their houses can continue to live in their original houses with low rents. They may have lost ownership of their houses but at least they do not have to sleep at the streets. The problem is solved.

How about the investors and lenders?
My response is, be a sport. You took the risk for the sake of higher returns. The risks turn against you. You lost the bet. When you invest in bonds or any loan instrument, you are basically placing a bet that the underlying borrowers can afford to pay you back the principle amount plus interest. If they fail, you lost your bet.

Let this be a lesson learned in investing and trusting in the so-called financial expert. Pick yourself up and move on.

Conclusion.
In conclusion, the solution is very simple. This is what engineering is all about, simplicity. However the bottom line is, it works.

When I Fall I Shall Arise

8Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
Micah 7:8 (KJV)

This is one of Jerry Savelle’s favorite verses. I have adopted it as mine too. I love this verse. In fact I use this as my battle cry. When you read this verse with discernment you will discover a strong fighting spirit that refuses to give up. It is about no-quit faith. This is what a believer’s life is all about.

We are called to battle and destined to win. Quitting is not an option. Failure and defeat is not in our future no matter how bad the situation looks right now.

Carnal Christians like the theologians and doctrine worshippers like to accuse us, the true spiritual Christians for saying that we are not supposed to have any problems here on earth. Then they proceeded to point out some examples of Christians who have problems to prove us wrong. However, the truth is we had never said Christians are not supposed to have any problem. That is a lie of theology.

The Bible is clear in saying that as long as we are on earth we have problems but it does not stop there. We are also told that God has promised to help us to overcome them. So, we have never denied the existence of problems in our lives and at the same time we refuse to allow ourselves to be oppressed by them. Our God had promised that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and we choose to believe him. Therefore, we Christians only have one response to all the problems we face in our lives. We shall overcome them all. This is the will of God for us.

The message of this article is, never give up. If you have fallen, rise again. If you are in darkness, let the Lord be your light. No failure is final. If you are a Christian, your destiny is victory. No matter how many times you have failed in the past, God is always on your side. If God is with you, who can be against you? The reason why you cannot see him helping you right now is because he is working behind the scenes to deliver you.

Your failures will turn into success. Your poverty will turn into prosperity. Your sickness will turn into health. This is the guarantee from our God. Our role is not to give up. We are to keep believing in his faithfulness, confessing our victories and filling our minds with positive thoughts. If we do that, our victory will come.

Some may ask on how long will it take. The answer is: as long as it takes. Kenneth Hagin once said that if we are willing to stand forever, it will not take very long. If you are poor, keep believing until you are rich. If you are sick, keep believing until you are healthy. Whatever your desires are, keep believing until you get them.

If you make mistakes and fall along the way, all you need to do is to stand up and move on. Declare to your enemies the following verse:

8Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
Micah 7:8 (KJV)

It takes commitment to live the victorious lives that God wants us to live. As long as you choose to put your trust in God and committed to live the victorious life of prosperity, good health, long life and success in every area, you can overcome every difficulty that the devil throws at you. This is what Christian life is all about.

Jerry Savelle Ministries International (JSMI)

I have not been writing for the past few days because I had been immersing myself in the messages of Jerry Savelle. I have discovered not long ago that the online sermons from the ministry’s website has improved. This enables me to listen to the whole message without too many interruptions. Overall, it is great. I have even got myself a new MP3 (my old one is damaged), load it up with Jerry’s messages and listen to it as often as I could.

In this article, I want to share a brief testimony on how this ministry has blessed me and lifted me. When I first knew of this ministry, I was in a very bad shape especially financially. At that time, JSMI had an office in Singapore. I stumbled into it and listened to Jerry Savelle’s sermons. It refreshed me and gave me hope despite the fact that none existed in the natural. It is a pity that the ministry has closed down the Singapore office.

I stuck with it because I did not have any other way out of the mess I was in. I signed up as a partner and gave out of the very little I had. Nothing significant happened for the following few years but I still clung on it. Finally at the middle of 2007, my first breakthrough happened and still continues today.

Incidentally, before the first breakthrough, I was confessing Jerry Savelle’s peophesies for that year. I can still remember a part of it.

2007 is my year of increase more and more.
2007 is the year that every door that is closed is closed no more.

I confessed it so often that even my son, who was 1 year old at that time could recite some of it. The result is, it works. Today, my salary is more that I had dared to dream of. I had so many opportunities that I do not know where to start. I have advanced from merely surviving to thriving and progressing to the next level of success and prosperity all because I have acquired a microscopic fraction of no-quit faith from this ministry.

I thank God for leading me to such a wonderful ministry. Over the years as I advanced, I have diversified into other instruments like “The Science Of Getting Rich” and its derivatives. They are good and I enjoy them but nothing can make me feel as good as listening to Jerry Savelle preaching his no-quit faith. So, I am back to the basics. This is the same basics that has worked in my life. My life is the testimony that this ministry works and I don’t think I am the only one. I am not only its partner, I have made JSMI the recipient of my tithes.

For those who are facing seemingly impossible situations right now, I strongly suggest you to click on JSMI website at the right side of the page and go to listen to its messages. In this blog, I have written a lot of articles that inspire faith and give hope but I do not think I can replicate the same effects as listening to the preachings of Jerry Savelle.

Finally, I want to present my view of the difference between the true and fake ministry. A true ministry always lift people up, inspires faith and gives hope. In contrast, a fake ministry always pushes people down, perverts faith and eliminates hope. Our future is dependent on the type of ministry we choose.

Righteousness Brings Wealth

20 I walk in righteousness, in paths of justice.
21 Those who love me inherit wealth. I will fill their treasuries.
Proverbs 8:20-21 (NLT)

The theme for this article is righteousness. This term has been widely used in churches including religious churches that are under the bondage of theology. I was familiar of this term when I was in my previous religious church. The religious preachers of my first church had given me the impression that righteousness means obeying God. (To those who had never been to religious churches, the phase “obey God” always means obey everything the preachers said.)

It should not surprise you that I hated righteousness. I thought it was another oppressive tool for the preachers to promote missions and squeeze money from their congregation.

I thank God for delivering me from the lies of theology. Today, I understand that righteousness means being right with God and I am righteous by faith and not by obeying the lies of theology.

16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.
17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
Romans 1:16-17 (NLT)

This means as Christians, we do not try to be righteous. We are righteous the moment we believe. Nothing and no one can change this truth, including the most perverse of all theologians. Righteousness is our natural state the moment we were born again into God’s species.

Proverbs 8:20-21 tells us the relationship between righteousness and wisdom. Since righteousness is our natural state, it is wise for us to walk in it. It is like birds flying in the air and fishes swimming in the water. All creatures can live in their best prosperity when they are in their natural state. This is the same for us, the sons and daughters of God. We can live in the best state of prosperity when we walk in righteousness, as stared in Proverbs 8:20-21.

20 I walk in righteousness, in paths of justice.
21 Those who love me inherit wealth. I will fill their treasuries.
Proverbs 8:20-21 (NLT)

The wisdom of God walks righteousness, in paths of justice. Those of us who choose to love wisdom will do the same. As a result, we will inherit wealth. Our treasuries will be filled. Some may ask what kind of wealth? Theologians and doctrine worshippers have the habit of adding the word “spiritual” to every promise on health and wealth in the Bible. This is the way they propagate the lie that God never promised health and wealth to Christians. However, if you read the entire Psalm 8, you will find that the context of wealth is physical assets.

This means living in righteousness will always bring us wealth, true physical wealth like having a lot money. This is the truth that Satan fears the most. This explains why he has been sending his theologians and doctrine worshippers to persecute Christians who believe in this truth.

There is no escape. If you are a Christian who believe in the truth of the Bible, you will be persecuted by the theologians and doctrine worshippers with labels like “Prosperity Gospel”. This is only a sign that you are on the right path. You are living the life God wants you to live. The result is prosperity in every area of your life, including health and wealth, both spiritually and physically.

In conclusion, “righteousness” is not an oppressive word nor is it a dirty word. It our natural state as sons and daughters of God. Through righteousness, we are in position to receive prosperity in every area of our lives, including the area that is dreaded by the Theologian (also known as Satan) – lots of money.

Guard Your Heart

23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT)

We are all familiar with the phrase “God is in control.” Even theologians and doctrine worshippers have no objection over it. However, the difference lies in its meaning and application.

In the minds of carnal Christians like the theologians and doctrine worshippers, the phrase “God is in control” means God is micro managing us. God is the one who decides on everything in our lives. Here are some examples.

 If you were hit by a car in an accident, God is the one who planned it for you because it is the will of God for you to be in that accident. That accident brings glory to God.

 If you were infected by cancer or H1N1 flu, God is the one who planned it for you because it is the will of God for you to be in sick. Your sickness brings glory to God.

 If you were raped, God is the one who planned it for you because it is the will of God for you to be raped. The rape brings glory to God. God loves to see you being raped.

 If you were killed, God is the one who planned it for you because it is the will of God for you to be killed. Your death brings glory to God because God loves murder.

 If you were poor, God is the one who planned it for you because it is the will of God for you to be poor. Your poverty brings glory to God because God loves to see people suffer in poverty.

The above are not exhaustive. By now I am sure you get the idea on how perverted theology is. Are they correct? If they are right about the Bible, I suggest we throw away the Bible. Who needs a perverted God?

Thank God, they are wrong. The truth is, God will never micro-manage us. The phrase, “God is in control” simply means God has the power to turn our situation around but he will never force his will on us. Let me give you an example.

The Bible has stated very clearly that it is the will of God for all believers to be rich on earth as in heaven. Being rich includes having a lot of money. If you happen to be a believer and you are poor, it is the will of God for you to receive your riches and be rich. However, you will not be forced nor threatened to do so. You have the freedom to reject God’s will in your life, believe in the heresy of theology and remain in poverty. This is the reason why so many Christians are poor. They choose to believe in the lie that God does not want them to be rich. This false belief has caused them to reject the blessing of prosperity from God.

While God has the power to exercise full control over our world, he will never do it without our direct approval because he has too much respect for us. The above verse tells us that it is the will of God that we as individual believers are the masters of our future. We have the right to determine which course we wish to take in our lives and we do it by guarding our hearts above all else.

23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT)

The term “heart” refers to our mind. Every day our senses receive a lot of news and this news is transmitted to our brains. Our brains will acknowledge and make sense on this news. Then the information is passed on to our minds. God has designed our minds to be extremely powerful. Our minds have the power to turn what is spiritual or virtual into its real or physical equivalent.

If we do not exercise control in guarding your mind, all type of bad news will get into it and your mind will turn them into real for you. Our minds may be very powerful but they have no common sense. It is our role to use our common sense to control the information that goes into it. We need to guard our hearts.

Let me give you an example in this. Whenever you read the news, you will hear a lot about the soaring unemployment rates, the bad economy and how people have been suffering. If your mind is unguarded, it will take in this information and make it real in your life. You will end up unemployed and suffer in this bad economy. When that happens, it is not God’s fault. It is not the will of God for you to be unemployed and suffer poverty. You made it happen by not guarding your heart as stated in Proverbs 4:23.

The question here is, how to guard our hearts? How are we supposed to prevent bad news from getting into our minds? The answer is we can’t. Everything we see and hear will go straight into our brains and minds. We cannot stop this flow. However, we can present the information to create a positive impression for our minds. Let me give you an example.

You read the news about many people getting laid off from their jobs and how much they are suffering. When this information gets into your brain, you are to add in a few lines like:

“Thank God, I am in this world but not of this world. God’s promise to prosper me will still hold despite the poor state of economy right now.”

“I want to help these suffering people but I cannot afford to do so now. I want to be very rich so that I can help them.”

“Jesus died poor for me to live rich. I am glad Jesus’ death at the Cross is more powerful than the effects of the bad economy right now. So, I will still be rich regardless of the circumstances.”

When you add in positive interpretations to your mind, you are effectively positioning your minds to think positive and subsequently your mind will make those positive impressions come true. This is the way we guard our minds/ hearts.

In addition, we should not meditate on the bad news. After you read the bad news, put it aside and move on. Do not meditate on it or you mind will start making it real for you.

In conclusion, God has made in clear that he has given us the freedom to decide on the course of our lives. We are the masters of our destiny. Why type of future do you want? Do you want to be rich, healthy and successful? If you do, your role is to guard your heart. Never allow your heart (mind) to think on anything that you do not wish to have and you do it by flooding your mind with thoughts on the future you want.

In short, guard your heart.
