Where Is The Money?

6 In the house of the righteous there is much treasure, But in the revenue of the wicked is trouble.
Proverbs 15:6 (NKJV)

Yesterday, I wrote on the guarantee of riches to all who had chosen to believe. Proverbs 15:6 is one of the many verses in the Bible that provides this guarantee. I am sure many will ask, “Where is the money?”

Since God has guaranteed riches to me, then why am I not rich? Where can I find the riches that God wants me to possess? The answer is right in the same verse stated above.

“In the house of the righteous there is much treasure,”

Your treasure is in your house. What does this means? The term “house” refers to the place that we have full access in. God did not put our riches in a far away place where we have to strive to get them. Our riches is in our own houses. They are right there in front of us. They are within our reach.

What we need is the discernment from God to identify them and the wisdom from God to turn them into real assets. This is God’s way for us to get rich. We do not strive to chase after money. We focus on serving our God. Money will strive and chase after us.

Knowing this truth will set us free. We will no longer be tempted to commit any wrongdoings for money. We are no longer compelled to sacrifice our health, families and integrity for the sake of money.

Money is not our master. It is our servant. We are not obligated to serve it. It is obligated to serve us.

Jesus has set us free from the rat race. We are free to live godly lives and be rich at the same time.

In conclusion, your treasure is in your house. Make your house your top priority. You will soon be as rich as you want to be.
