Dear readers,
Previously I have allowed complete freedom for anyone to post any comment in this blog good or bad. However, this gesture of mine has been abused by one visitor who had been posting abuses on me.
As such, I have to stop this practice and revert to the default setting where comments must be approved by me before they can be published here.
Thank you.

Hi Chee Seng
Yes, I am back. I did not get to read your reply to my last comments and I would very much like to hear what you have to say again. Anyway, I attended New Creation Church for their Christmas service to see whether if the things I said about them were true and to see if what Joseph Prince had to say.
It saddened me to see and to know that what I heard was what I expected and it hurts to see a great deal of people being fleeced at the indoor stadium that day. I also have to say that I still stand firm with the things I said earlier in your blog and I hope that in time God will open your eyes and awaken your spirit from slumber before Jesus comes back again.

What was your last comments? If you can put them one at a time in a simple form, I will try to reply them.
What did you expect from New Creation Church? Did you expect Joseph Prince to say if you don’t obey God, he will fry you on Judgment Day?

YCS:
I visited the New Creation Website(mostly out of curiosity as I started my Christian walk almost 30 years ago in a church of the same name in the US). I am pleased to see a Christian churh in Singapore that is flourishing. I can see the importance of the message of grace in that land. In the US I sometimes find, unfortunately, that the pure grace message is watered down to cover for a lack of desire to be obediet to God’s word. Many times it becomes almost like a get out of jail free card, thus giving no real motivation to living a holy life before the living God. i percieve that the pastor of this church understands this and teaches accordingly. I do agree that God will prosper his people, not for selfish gain but for the porpose of neeting all needs anf funding every good work. I left a comment on another of your posts, I pray it doesn’t offend you, as that is never my intent. I ,like you, feel the need to help the body of Christ gain understanding on regards to God’s word. God Bless ,

Whether I want to obey or disobey God, it is my own choice. No one has the right to point a gun to my head and demand me to do what I don’t want to do even if he is God.
So, whether I want to be rich for selfish or unselfish motives, it is my choice.

I think you have missed my point. I am not trying to say that you do not have the right to choose, we all do. The right to make choices is what separates us from all of the rest of creation. If we didn’t have that right then God would owe Adam an apology. The point I was trying to make concerning God prospering His people is that “God ” is not at all interested in your selfish motives. You are certainly right to say that you may become wealthy for your own purposes. I just do not believe that God will facilitate that motive, especially if you are in a postition of telling Him that He has no right to dictate policy regarding His moves. Please do not take what I say as an attack on you personally. If I have learned nothing else in 30 years of walking with God, it is to not attack people for trying to seek truth in God. I only am trying to act as a guide . My opinion is not the final answer to anything except my opinion. As teachers of God’s word though, we do have to answer to God himself, that is scriptural. Be sure that you are confident of how God would recieve your teaching when you display it.
God Bless, Glenn

When God made a promise, he is obligated by his own integrity to fulfill it.
My teaching is on the application on God’s words. If God does not want me to use his words, he should not have given them to me.

I would just like to say first that this is not the same Aaron who has been “abusing” the opportunity to comment on your blog. Furthermore, I would like to say that it is offensive to have comments “preserved” to demonstrate the “stupidity of theology.” Since the word itself means “study of God,” I have much concern for you.
These comments have come not in order to insult, but to respectfully discuss problems with your interpretation of Scripture. I think it would be a respectful and appropriate thing to remove my comments if you disagree.
Respectfully and prayerfully.

Out of respect for your request, I will remove your previous post.
However, this does not change the truth that it is a heresy to accuse Jesus as the pervert who guarantees troubles. We Christians see our God as te solution and not the source of our troubles.
No matter how theology choose to define itself, the fact proves that it is a heresy from the pit of hell.

Thank you, brother for your bold rebuke. I am so thankful for God’s gift of mercy that He gives to each of us as we stumble on the path that Christ has trod before us. Peace.

Let me guess. God’s mercy means he guarantees us troubles. Without this mercy, we will live in trouble free world full of prosperity. Thank God for his mercy.

I can give you the same quote. The bottom line is context.

Hey…Yeap
I’m from the same church as you. I have been here for over 5 years.
Yes, God has been abundantly gracious. You know what I mean.
Our family has experienced great blessings as I believe yours hastoo. Protection, Mercy and Provisions like we are taught. I fully immersed myself in all our teachings over the 5 years, digesting a CD message every morning, and even at night. I really loved the Word expounded in our church.
Having said that,
We need to study the Scripture prayerfully for ourselves.
For ourselves. Without the lens of what we’re taught.
I did so with all the Epistles, leaving out the Gospel, and
just let God be God to minister His truth to me. Let Him speak from His word, literally.
If everything is contextual, then much of the Bible, except some portions of what Paul said, is unnecessary. This leaves us with a compelling teaching which leaves us unaware that God is holy. We confess we’re holy like we’re taught.
But we’ll never walk out the holiness we’ve caught because
there’s no need to.
Grace for me…turned into licence. I really behaved like the devil because I felt it’s ok what….
I would not have realised it unless God opened my eyes.
Does this mean He is a pervert who inflicts pain? No, He is a good Father who loves me and you and all who have posted on your blog, chastening us with His word.
I’ve come to a careful conclusion, we need to TURN away from our sins.
We certainly need to read the NT for ourselves. Read it like a comprehension passage and deduce with His wisdom.
Much blessing and prayer for you
and everyone still here in our church

If grace has turned into a licence for you to behave like a devil, then you have never known grace at all. Don’t blame God for your sins. Jesus has died to set you free from the bondage of sin. If you sin, it is because you want to. Do not blame the Gospel for it.
The real conclusion is we do not need to turn away from our sins. We need to turn to God. When we turn to God, we will automatically turing away from sins.
My advice to you is to take full responsibility on your own actions. You are the one who has chosen to sin. Do not blame the Gospel.
