You Must Deny Yourself, Take Up Your Cross Daily And Follow Me.

23Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
24For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.
25What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
Luke 9:23-25(NIV)

The above is among the most abused passage in the Bible. Theologians like to find whatever loopholes they can to prove their heresy that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is false. It seems that the calling in their lives is to prove that God has no intention to honor his promise to give us visible things like health and wealth.

As long as we talk about “spiritual” stuff that cannot be proven objectively like joy and peace, they have no problem with us but the moment we talk about things that can proven like health and wealth, they will get very agitated. They will do anything in hope that we will give up our faith. It seems that Satan, (who is the god of theology) is afraid that we Christians getting rich and healthy.

One of the tactics used by the theologians is to pervert the above verse to promote their heresy that God has no intention to honor his promise of giving us health and wealth.

Let me start by giving you the theologians’ heretic interpretation of the above verses. According to the theologians, the above verses means Christians must not have any desire to have better lives while we are on earth. Denying ourselves means we cannot aspire to have more money, live in bigger house, drive bigger cars, have better health, more successful careers and any other “earthly stuff”. It is a sin for Christians to have such desires.

Instead we should take up our cross daily and follow Jesus. This means Christians are supposed to suffer as long as we are on earth. So, if you are enjoying life right now, you are living in sin. The only you can live holy live is when you are suffering. (God must be a real pervert.)

Not only that, we must not value our lives. “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.” According to the heresy of theology, Christians must always be prepared to die for the sake of the “gospel”. (I have put inverted commas to indicate that the “gospel” from theology is not the real Gospel of Jesus Christ). Theologians are not above the level of sacrificing people for the sake of their heresy.

Finally, theologians pervert Luke 9:25 to the lie that Christians who desire to be rich will not be saved. So, based on their heresy, people like me will definitely go to hell. Thank God, their heresy is nothing more than heresy. They are lies from the pit of hell.

I have just given you the lies of theology’s interpretation on the above verses. Ironically, even Christians who attend religious churches do not practice those heresies. Most Christians, including those who attend religious churches on Sunday are quite normal. They are progressive. They value good education because they want to get good jobs with good pay. They do the best they can in their jobs in order to climb up the corporate ladder. Many of them even take up additional courses like MBA to help them to move to the management level.

Generally all Christians (with the exception of some crackpots) want to live good lives on earth. They want more money, live in better environments, good health, happy families and all the good things. The lives of most Christians have shown that they have rejected the heresy of theology.

Now, let me move on to the true meaning of the above verses.

Jesus said the above verses after Peter had confessed that he is the Christ. Then Jesus proceeded to tell them what Christian life is all about. I shall break them down to explain them.

He must deny himself.
This means not allowing ourselves to be constraint by natural limitations. Every one of us is surrounded by natural limitations. Right now we are currently in the worst recession in history. It so happens that we also have swine flu spreading around us. Looks like things are really getting bad. How are we going to survive this crisis, let alone getting rich? These are facts. We should not deny their existence.

However, Jesus wants us to deny ourselves. This means, we should not allow ourselves to be limited by the situation. We have God on our side. He is more powerful than the worst economic crisis and worst flu put together. As long as we choose to deny ourselves in not allowing the natural circumstances to have the final say in our lives, we can overcome them. Yes, we can get rich even in the worst recession. We can live healthy lives even in the midst of the worst swine flu. He who is in us is greater than he who is in this world.

Take up his cross daily and follow me.
Taking us the cross daily does not mean we must get crucified every day. Even Jesus got crucified only once. It means we should like everyday with the constant awareness on what Jesus had done at the Cross.

At the Cross, Jesus had died to pay for all our sins: past, present and future. The moment we believe in him, we are righteous by faith. We can go to God at any time we want and behave as though we have never committed a single sin in our lives. Why? As far as God is concern, all the penalties of our sins had been paid. We are always holy because of what Jesus has done at the Cross. It is a heresy to call a Christian sinner. You cannot be a Christian and a sinner at the same time. You can only choose to be either one of them. If you are a Christian, God sees you as always holy even if you have just committed a sin one second ago.

That is not all. At the Cross, Jesus did not just pay for our sins. He took away all our disease for us to live in good health. He also took away all our poverty for us to live in riches.

4Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains — he hath carried them, And we — we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:4 (YLT)

9 You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9 (NLT)

This means, those who follow Jesus will always be blessed with good health and a lot of wealth. So, if you happen to be a Christian who is not healthy enough or not rich enough (like me), Jesus’ solution for us is to take us the cross daily and follow him. Are you going to obey him? I will.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it.
This means do not cling tightly to your life as though you have the power to save yourself. This does not mean that we must have no regard to our lives. You still need to take the necessary precaution. For example, in this season of swine flu outbreak, we should keep our hands clean and avoid going to infected places if we can.

However, as much as we try to take reasonable precautions, we must always remind ourselves that our God is our ultimate protector. Let him move in to protect us. Allow his peace and joy to occupy our minds. The more anxious we are in trying to save our lives, the more we are likely to lose it because we are not God. In contrast, the more we place our trust in God’s protection, we will be protected from every harm. This is the true meaning of Luke 9:24.

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
No matter how hard the theologians try to propagate their heresies, the truth is God put all the riches in this world for us, his people. Jesus died poor for us to be rich. God wants us to gain the whole world but not at the expense of ourselves. It is not the will of God for us to gain the whole world and lose ourselves.

In order words, God wants us to have a lot of money and own the money. God does not want our money to own us. This is what getting rich is all about. We are the boss to our money. Once we are able to grasp this truth, there is no limit on how rich we can get.

Conclusion.
Luke 9:23-25 is not a perversion as propagated by the theologians. It is a formula to get rich. If you want to get rich, put these verses into action.

Oh, wow. I just prayed for you to be moved by the Spirit of God to see truth. You have definitely misunderstood some of what “theologians” (or any person -theologian or not- reading the Bible with the Spirit of God as their guide) are saying and in many cases you have just outright denied and tried to change what the Bible teaches. And you’re trying to convince others of your error. You’ve also taken the Isaiah and 2 Corinthians passages completely out of context to prove an incorrect point that suits your agenda.
I say this, not out of hatred but love. Friend, you need Jesus. Until you can count the cost of following Him, until you can deny yourself (meaning to prefer Him over yourself in everything), until you are dead a raised again to walk in a new way of life (Romans 6), you cannot possibly be regenerated by His grace. He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
No, nothing is wrong with possessions. We are only stewards of them for the Kingdom and for the Lord.
It is just very obvious, outside looking in, that possessions have your heart. I will pray for your freedom and salvation.

    Love,
    Jason

With love like yours, who needs hate?

By the way, if you really want to know the truth, feel free to read the rest of this blog.

23And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
25For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? KJV

deny yourself, meaning we must “kill the natural sinful man inside of us,” all of mankind wants to sin and do what they want when they want, we all have sinful desires, when we become “slaves to Christ” we must “deny our own sinful desires” take up our cross and follow HIM, Jesus did save us but we also made Him LORD of our life, which we as servants do what God wants and submit to HIS will, no matter what, Getting Saved is NOT FIRE INSURANCE!!!,
its surrending your Life to Christ and His Will! verse 24
we must be able to give our life, for Christs name sake!
verse 25 what good is owning the whole world and being king of it all, and dying and Going to Hell for eternity????? if we give our whole life to Christ , we will be saved from eternity in Hell, we all slip up sometimes and sin ill be the first to admit to that, but if you think asking Jesus into your heart and then doing whatever you want the rest of your life will get you into heaven!!!! YOU my friend are sorely mistaken, if God told you to sell all of your things and go street preaching would you do it? would you submit to Gods will for your life? when you get saved you become a “slave” to Christ and His will, im not saying God doesnt want you to be rich, but if God wanted you to live by faith and not rely on your own money and resources , would you be able to , or say “thats too hard to do i dont like this christain stuff anymore”????its easy to live by faith when you drive a Lincoln Nav and make 100,000 a year? isnt it? what about when you dont have two pennys to rub together? That my friend is living by faith, in our weakness HE is stronger, i must decrease HE must increase, how easy is it for a rich man to get to heaven? you can offer salvation to a person who has everything they want and need, but they are content with what they have, and dont want salvation,
submit your life to Christ, follow HIM, try your hardest not to let the sinful ways turn you away from God will,

  5. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

It seems that those who don’t know anything about the Bible are the most eager to share their teachings.

  6. Luke Says:

Brother , we can argue all day about what the bible says, but it is all in vain if we don’t have one thing clear,
You must submit your life to Christ make Him Lord of your life and follow Him, cause ultimately salvation and the bibles teachings are a GOD revealed thing. Until you are chosen by God you are publishing your own opinions
May the Lords grace shine upon you , and save you from eternity in hell,

  7. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

My decision in becoming a Christian is based on the promised of guaranteed salvation. If my salvation is not guaranteed, then the deal is off. My belief is also invalid.

God has given me the ability to think and form my own opinion. I am not ashamed of him.

  8. Samuel Says:

You are publishing heresy. Mammon is around looking for worshipers. I hope that you did not fall into is trap. These are the last days when men will be lovers of money (2 Timothy3:1-9) and pleasure. No wander, money is being praised so much today. Jesus never gave money the praise. Many will not even dare to teach against the love of money, which is a clear sign that they do not want to offend their boss (Mammon). This is sad to see that it done by those claim to Christians. I urge you to get out that idolatry. If you understand bible prophesies, know it that Mammon is actively taking captives today and forcing people to worship him by disguising under the “name of prosperity”. Jesus-Christ taught against the love money, all the apostles taught against the love of money but which prosperity teacher would dare to do that? True prosperity is <>. We should seek to manifest the fullness of the life of Christ. The motto is the Kingdom of God. While God always wants our well being, He said clearly that we should seek FIRST HIS Kingdom. The other things might be good BUT not FIRST. The prosperity gospel has put the material possessions as first and attempt to silence the seeking of the Kingdom of God.

    In Christ

  9. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

I urge you to deny yourself, take up the cross and follow Jesus. You must repent from the heresy of worshipping Mammon.

  10. rev.dcrd Says:

Yeap Chee, you said: “This means, those who follow Jesus will always be blessed with good health and a lot of wealth.”

Context is very important in using scripture. In Matthew 16:21-28, notice that Peter rebuked Jesus for talking about suffering and dying, and also notice that Jesus rebuked Peter saying, “Get behind me Satan!” Peter had in mind the things of men, that the Messiah was to come as a warrior king and conquer, be victorious, be powerful. That would have been nice for the disciples who would then have had wealth and power as well. However, Jesus went the way of the cross to die for the sins of the world so that you and I might have a restored relationship with God.
Jesus did not come to guarantee you health and wealth. The reality is that being healthy and wealthy are not guaranteed to Christians, though health and wealth are certainly a blessing. Again, context is key in using scripture.

Following your line of logic, the poor persecuted followers of Jesus getting sick because of torture and prison in other countries aren’t really Christians, right? The apostle Paul and other great followers of Jesus must not be very good Christians, right? Jesus in his own life didn’t set a very good example in terms of wealth, did he?

Check out these additional scripture verses that are very interesting:

Romans 8:16-18 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” …notice the word suffering… …the glory happens on the last day when we join our Lord in heaven….

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” …. I don’t see Paul talking about his great health and wealth… …for when I am weak, then I am strong…

  11. chosen servant Says:

The context is not about “self-fulfillment”… it’s “self-denial” .. God Bless!

  12. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

Thank you for your input. The bottom line is I choose to be a Christian. Christianity is a choice, not a bondage to me. It is my servant, not my master. The servant obeys the master, not the other way round.

If the Bible is incapable of obeying my instructions, it is useless to me. As for other Christians who are sufferring, I did not cause it. They are not my role model. I will not change my instructions to the Bible because of them.

  13. Ryan Says:

Oh my goodness!!! I can’t believe that you think God’s word is YOUR servant! You will not get far in the kingdom with that thought process. You don’t have any power over God’s word! That verse specifically says to “deny yourself!” “Yourself” being you and your desires over what God desires for you! I will not tell you that you won’t have riches. In Malchi 3:6-12 speaks about how God will bless you and protect but that is after you are faithful to Him! God loves you but do not think that God will bend his teachings for your incorrect interpretations. His mercy is waiting for you! Please take this blog down and do not lead other people with wrong teachings! Revelation 22:14-15 says, “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Ouside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and EVERYONE WHO LOVES AND PRACTICES FALSEHOOD!”
Me and the other people on here are bringing to you correct teachings and we are taking time out of our lives to reach out to you and help you understand what God is about and you are rejecting us, and also you are rejecting God! The Devil has the world to offer you! He offered it to Jesus overlooking the city!
Let me also tell you this, if you want a lot of money, work hard. Choose a profession that has a strong paying salary. You will have a lot of money. You will have more if you advance the Kingdom of God with it first and do not use it all up for your own worldly pleasures by not “denying yourself” first! God states not worry about things and possessions of this world. Does He not feed the birds of the air, or clothe the flowers of the field? How much more will He take care of His children? Take your heart off of money, take your heart off of possessions, you will be given these things by God after you have your heart in alignment with his! AFTER! Not before! If you are a believer, if you truly do love God, I know he will work on you in time! I hope that you take my response with love and care because that is how I typed it!

Just to put one more thing in perspective, God chooses his followers way before we begin to follow and choose him back! He loved us first! You can’t choose to be a Christian. It will choose you! You decide whether to obey His teachinga and walk in his grace or not!

  14. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

Too late. I have already chosen to be a Christian. Unlike the mindless drones, I make my own decisions. God has given me the ability to think independent thoughts and I will use it.

  15. Tom G. Says:

I take it your Chinese……….correct? The very heresies your accusing others of teaching and expounding on are in fact our OWN Heresies Mr. Seng. You know nothing about God’s Word. The Devil has blinded your eyes in seeing the real Truth. Have you ever heard of Watchman Nee? He wrote a book called the “Spiritual Man”, I suggest you read it sometime, and then see if your “Denying Self”. My guess is, you wont read it, because you dont really want to know the real Truth, you want to be rich and successful, and not suffer. Good Luck with that Mr. Seng.

  16. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

As a non pervert I am not interested in suffering.

  17. Pastor moses Says:

This is really powerful God bless you im going to share it in church tomorrow.

  18. Pastor Tony Says:

Carry your cross daily is not to be interpreted as suffering on a daily basis. What Jesus is saying is what He said “WE MUST DENY SELF.” Denying self as Jesus denied himself (being obedient to the Father), means that we must sacrifice our lives by being obedient to our Lord and Savior so that we can live in the Kingdom of God and be used by God to do whatever it is He wants us to do while we are on this earth. The goal is not to live in the flesh or in the world, but to live and walk and be led by the Holy Spirit…and how that plays out in your life depends on your obediance to God. Read John 14:25, 16:13-15, Romans 8:5-18, & Gal 5:16,

You must be filled with His HOLY Spirit to understand and correctly interpret His HOLY word (Bible), it’s not up to private interpretation. Jesus said this in John 6:63, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for NOTHING. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are LIFE.”

    Last words:
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:15-17

He that has ears, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches!

  19. LoveThemLikeJesus Says:

Matthew 10:24 “A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
    New International Version
Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

Clearly Jesus told us that He is our master and We are his servant.
If anyone is not interested or didn’t experienced suffering in their lives as a Christians, what is the worth of being a Christians?its like a kite, you will not make a kite and just display it in a museum right?of course not,you want to make one because you want to know what is the feeling of flying a kite and making one is not that simple, you should know the principle good one so it will not crash if a strong wind come.

A kite resembles our faith in God,There’s a time when our faith will be put to test.In sufferings, persecutions and like the scriptures said “Denying yourself”. This is the only way that we can prove if our faith is strong or weak.if Our faith is weak,we will stumble in the dark as a kite that blown away by a strong wind but if our faith is strong,it can stood strong winds, which is the trials that we are facing everyday and it will soar high in the sky.So in making a kite we must seek the help of an expert, not other than Jesus Christ.

I respect your different point of view Mr Seng, but you should also be aware that opening a blog like this will attract more people and discussion based on your ideas.Just be an open minded person. Thanks and may the Lord Guide us and Bless us everyday.

Most of us Christians are not perverts.

  21. oyetundea@yahoo.com Says:

Any attempt to go for discussion with this guy is a waste. Please we need to pray for him to be delivered. Thank you all

  22. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

You are right. You can never persuade a non pervert to enjoy suffering.

  23. sam savas Says:

this guy is either deceived or trying to deceive others. Father forgive them for they know not what they do….You reap what you sow, remember that, when trying to preach the gospel. Also remember Matthew 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. We are supposed to love selflessly how can we be selfless if we are rich, and worrying about our money all the time. Sell all that you own and follow me said christ. The point is that we cant fill our cup with our selfish desires, for some people being poor is the only way they cling to god. If they had the riches they would indulge in self. Self indulgence never brings happiness, it only leaves you hungry for more. Gods blessing of prosperity does exist, but only for those who can righteously handle the riches. Think of your self as a field, and gods blessing as a seed. What happens if you plant seeds in a field that hasnt been worked properly to receive the seed? You cant just go around throwing seeds on weeds and grass or on top of the dirt, you would get little if any fruit. So if you want certain blessings from god, find out what it takes to be able to handle such blessings, then prepare yourself mentally and spiritually to be able to receive them. Have a giving heart, love people even those that do wrong to you. Give your money away to those in need and god will give you more to give away in my opinion. I honestly think its better not to even care or worry about prosperity, if its GODS will for you to have it you will. If you are actively seeking money are you actively seeking the Kingdom? I would also like to add, if you believe your god is so powerful, how come you believe he would let his word become perverted. And if money in this life is SOOOO important to you, do you even believe in GOD, deep down? throughout the bible god has broken people to teach them to be dependent on him, so how is it you can truly depend on your heavenly father if you are a self made millionaire. Work hard to LOVE, that is the true wealth, material things dont love you back, and they dont make other people, love you. The more you have that someone else doesnt have stirs envy in their hearts. How many people see someone living in the nicest house thinks to themselves, “I am so happy for Joe for having such a nice house, aww I just love him.” They may say such things to your face, but behind your back they envy and lust after what you got that they dont. So it could theoretically be said that your riches even promote sin in others. And remember you reap as you sow. Not saying Im not guilty of some of these things, we are all guilty of sin, we are ALL sinners. The difference is, do you delight in your sin or are you ready to do something about it? the point is without GOD Without Christ we would be doomed in our sin. Good works arent going to get you to heaven, but also remember Faith without works is dead. Admit you are broken, believe in Yehoshua, Trust GOD.

  24. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

You must deny yourself, pick up the Cross and follow Jesus.

  25. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

    Here is my complete answer:

“You reap what you sow, remember that, when trying to preach the gospel. Also remember Matthew 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. We are supposed to love selflessly how can we be selfless if we are rich, and worrying about our money all the time.”

If you cannot be selfless when you are rich, what makes you think you can be selfless when you are poor. Are you that deluded?

“Sell all that you own and follow me said christ.”

Which church do you know truly obeys the above? The answer is none. All Christians have uanimously chosen to reject it. We only differ in our honesty in admission.

“The point is that we cant fill our cup with our selfish desires, for some people being poor is the only way they cling to god.”

If you are only willing to cling to God when you are poor, then you have never believed in God in the first place.

“If they had the riches they would indulge in self. Self indulgence never brings happiness, it only leaves you hungry for more.”

Wrong sequence. If you indulge in self, you will never be rich.

“Gods blessing of prosperity does exist, but only for those who can righteously handle the riches. Give your money away to those in need and god will give you more to give away in my opinion.”

Good. You got it right. Keep it up.

“I honestly think its better not to even care or worry about prosperity, if its GODS will for you to have it you will. If you are actively seeking money are you actively seeking the Kingdom? ”

Seek first His Kingdom and everything else shall be added unto you.

“I would also like to add, if you believe your god is so powerful, how come you believe he would let his word become perverted.”

If you believe your God is such a perverted and hopeless jerk, how come you believe anyone will bother to pervert his words?

“And if money in this life is SOOOO important to you, do you even believe in GOD, deep down?”

If money is so unimportant to you, do you even dare to sell everything you have and follow Jesus?

” throughout the bible god has broken people to teach them to be dependent on him, so how is it you can truly depend on your heavenly father if you are a self made millionaire.”

Wrong. Throughout the Bible God has built up people to teach them to be dependent on him, so how is it you can truly depend on your heavenly father if you are a lazy and unproductive person?

“Work hard to LOVE, that is the true wealth, material things dont love you back, and they dont make other people, love you. ”

If you have to work hard to love, then your love is fake.

“The more you have that someone else doesnt have stirs envy in their hearts. How many people see someone living in the nicest house thinks to themselves, “I am so happy for Joe for having such a nice house, aww I just love him.” They may say such things to your face, but behind your back they envy and lust after what you got that they dont. ”

It is your responsibility to deal with your envy. Don’t expect other people to be lazy and unproductive just because you cannot help envying them when they are rich.

“So it could theoretically be said that your riches even promote sin in others.”

You are responsible for your sins. Don’t expect people to be lazy and unproductive just because you cannot help sinning.

“And remember you reap as you sow. Admit you are broken, believe in Yehoshua, Trust GOD.”

So, you should repent from your sins and turn to Jesus.

  26. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

    Pastor Tony,

I have just clicked on your name and got into your website. I saw a a button says “DONATE” with logos of credit cards below it. This shows that you are only after money. You are such a hypocrite.

This makes you a qualified theologian.

  27. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

“If anyone is not interested or didn’t experienced suffering in their lives as a Christians, what is the worth of being a Christians?”

This means only perverts can be Christians. What a theology.

  28. LoveThemLikeJesus Says:

Mr.Send kindly read this article that I will give to you.

    http://www.issuesetcarchive.org/issues_site/resource/journals/v2n1wlkn.htm

“He who does not know Christ does not know God hidden in suffering. Therefore he prefers works to suffering, glory to the cross, strength to weakness, wisdom to folly, and, in general, good to evil. These are the people whom the apostle calls “enemies of the cross of Christ” [Phil. 3:18], for they hate the cross and suffering and love works and the glory of works.”
may your heart be open and accept what Jesus wants us to do. God Bless

How do you explain the fact that most Christians are not perverts?

  30. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

I find it strange for the idea that Christians must justify their stand of being non perverts.

Wow,I’m sure reading a whole lot of ‘RAH,RAH,HOOORAY FOR SUFFERING’ comments on here in response to this man’s article. Are all of you HAPPILY suffering to prove YOUR salvation real? Answer yourself HONESTLY to see whether or not you are truly living up to what you’re condemning others ‘for not doing’! My guess is that your walk is not nearly as impressive to God as it is to yourself! Did Jesus pay it ALL with His suffering on the cross,or must we add our own to the equation lest we burn in hell? I truly feel sorry for some of you.Salvation is either a FREE GIFT,paid in full at Calvary,or we must ADD suffering to the equation. If it’s not the FORMER,we’re ALL in big trouble…..yes you too,Mr.Joyful Sufferer!

Do not continue to discuss anything with this individual. He causes confusion to those who have just started their walk in Christ and frustrates those who know the Truth. He is blinded by the enemy all around. Look at the way he answers those who don’t see eye to eye with his way of thinking. This will be the last time I write anything because his website/blog is what the swine loves to roll in. Just stop reading this Blog. Focus on God’s word.. Get yourselves into a bible based church. Yeap Chee Seng, just stop. Please repent. Good bye. Show others you are a true Christ follower and live in the spirit by not responding to this message. Don’t go by your flesh!! (you;ll probably fail which will show you live by your emotions a/k/a your flesh) You are absolutely confused all around.

  33. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

    Poor devil.

  34. Curly Sue Says:

Unfortunately, i’m not reading any more of your i have nothing better to do articles because the few I’ve read are quite disturbing. What’s disturbing even more is the way you write back to others. With your smart remarks. So I’m just giving some of your own medicine back. Some articles I didn’t even bother glancing at or others that you wrote that might actually sound like you have a heart and make some sense. Looks like you’re just down to me as a reader and not for long. My work is accomplished. God Bless!

Enlightenment is knowing one’s self by denying one’s deire to sin that’s taking the log out of your own eye if you will, hence dying to CHRIST, we are all martyrs in him not perverted by dying to self but lavishly living in GODS blessings…pastor pete

  38. Truth Says:

Self denial is not popular even amoung Christians but it is vital, money, fame, status are all worldly and while money is necessary we should not crave it. Whether we have a lot or a little we are to be good stewards. Jesus had access to money but he did not sore up w wealth. He owned no property that we know of yet he had access to money. He used it to help others. For Him it was all about esatblishing the kingdom. Many who are wealthy take scripture out of contexct to justify extravagant lifestyles. How can this be self denial? Even many TV evangelists abuse scripture to justify lifestyles that can be compared with celebrities. I believe God wants us to enjoy life, have a good education career etc but the Bible does not promise continual health and wealth in this life, the Bible talks about the fruit of the spirit and the beatitudes and being persecuted for Christs’ sake. Christians around the world are killed daily because they refuse to deny Christ; they have peace in knowing that their hope is not in this life only

  39. Yeap Chee Seng Says:

That is because we Christians are not perverts. We don’t like to suffer.
